Life Mobile, or TPO any good? EE Boaster work?
Hi,
I am considering getting a LIFE mobile sim for my wife as its only £10 for 2GB data. I see it uses EE network. I have a EE signal boaster, will that work with LIFE? Also, are they any good. I see it's not 4G but that's not a big deal for my wife anyway...... Also TPO offer 3GB for £10 also.... |

Thanks for that. TPO is potentially cheaper at £9 for 2GB, £10 for 3GB. I guess LIFE would work on booster then if owned by EE, not sure if TPO would but good to hear they are both good companies. Can't use iD as Three and EE is terrible in my house (hence the signal booster).

I know it's only 50p/month cheaper, but the 2GB Life deal is £9.45 if you sign up through Uswitch

I used TPO as a second sim in a phone and it was fine. I have heard that the customer service isn't good but I have never had any issues so I can't comment. Apparently TPO are moving from EE to Three but I don't have any details on that. One good thing about TPO is that they contribute to good causes and support progressive organisations and trade unions which, to me anyway, was one reason I used them.

Thanks for the info, and yes 50p is worth doing. If TPO are moving to 3 that will be them out for me as 3 signal is rubbish at home. Looks like LIFE is best option then. Current tarriff with discount is £12.88 for 2GB on o2 so it's a reasonable saving.

I haven't got the answer, but I wouldn't make any automatic assumptions that LIFE (or TPO) will work with an EE signal booster.

According to this thread https://community.virginmedia.com/t5...g/td-p/2682984 The Signal Box will work with with EE MVNO Virgin but you do still need an EE account, so would probably with with any other MVNOs too. And would recommend life for good customer service.

As it happens I got an answer from TPO CS yesterday about their network plans. They are moving from EE to 3 in July.
