I don't really know, is she working on a new album at the moment? Honeymoon only came out less than a year ago.

Late this year I think. She confirmed back in March she was doing another album.

Would love to see Lana have her Kelis "Fleshtone" moment for the next album and bring out a load of bangers.

Well if its Lana Del Rey we are talking about : Yes she's back in the studio and she's indicated she is working with Justin Parker again. For those that don't know that's the British producer/songwriter who she collaborate with to write Video Games, Born to Die and Ride.

I seem to remember seeing a news item about her manager Ben saying it was due in Dec/Jan. I wouldn't get too strung up on the date as these things always tend to slip or change. Just looking forward to another great album. I like how Ben simply called it: LDR4.

I didn't actually like Honeymoon too much. Feel like it was a step backwards after Ultraviolence.

She does not disappoint with the output, almost every year an album

as long as she does not collaborate with David Guetta or a flavour of the month producer

i agree. i liked freak, religion, art deco, and high by the beach but that is it. it was too slow as a whole i thought, i much prefer her trip hop stuff on born to die and the more psychadelic, 70's style rock on ultraviolence.

Honeymoon was ok but there was no progression at all from UV. It felt like an album that was made for the sake of it.

Born To Die/Paradise is my favourite Lana album. That type of music suits her. She's not a pure pop artist. She has some great unreleased songs too.

I don't think she will. I couldn't imagine Lana collaborating with the likes of David Guetta or Calvin Harris or resorting to rent a rapper. That style of music doesn't suit her. Even the single remix of Summertime Sadness was awful and took away from the real song. I think the acoustic/live lounge or trip hop music suits her the best.

I don't know, a lot of Lana songs lend themselves to great dance remixes.
There's one particular dance remix of West Coast that is great.

for sure. i'm not sure what genre i'd put them in but my favourite unreleased tracks of hers are boarding school, driving in cars with boys, queen of disaster, i don't wanna go, never let me go and prom song (gone wrong). they all make me feel quite nostalgic, which is how a lot of born to die made me feel.

She's back touring again, now the You-Tube vids are going up couldn't resist linking this brilliant performance in Poland at the Orange Festival. As you may have seen she's gone back to blonde hair like in her Lizzy Grant days again (I believe Blonde is actually her natural hair colour but its hard to tell since she changes it so often, well she was as they say born to dye ).

First stage performances of High By The Beach and Freak are at about 4:05mins onwards in this montage of the show, good to see them in the set:

Something of a greatest hits show and it’s great to see she's still performing unreleased track Serial Killer too- another song I can't believe isn't on any of the albums. Gutted she isn't playing the UK . I believe all her US & overseas festival dates clash with the various UK music festivals so it was always unlikely she was going to play here unfortunately.

Yeah, I feel like she's got sidetracked down one path without much variety on the records. Ultraviolence had this issue to a lesser extent. She still hasn't surpassed Ride for me. She needs to get back to that sound, though some of the music on Ultraviolence and Honeymoon is beautiful. I'm more worried that she's burning through material like there's no tomorrow. Another album on its way with masses of great unreleased songs that I'd rather she gave some attention to first. A Lana Song's From The Vault/Bootleg collection is definitely feasible with the amount of stuff out there.
