an april pregnancy usually means a Christmas baby so it is not beyond the realms of possibility for a pregnancy to occur from this horizontal jiggy jig. Also, would phil cope with a mixed race child?

I do think that it's being set up so Denise gets into a quandary about whether or not to keep the baby. On the one hand, she is lonely, feeling maternal and the possibility of being a grandmother was taken away from her (which was totally Libby's right). On the other hand the baby would have Mitchell genes, Ben battered Heather to death and Louise goes round shoving poo through letterboxes and stealing wine. I can see this putting Denise off. I reckon she may keep the baby but will keep the paternity a secret.

Just seen last nights episode. Denise is fast becoming my most loathed character of all time.

She is a deeply bitter, sour woman who sucks the joy out of any room she finds herself in. God forbid someone enjoys themselves in the pub without that haggard, nagging woman blaring in and airing her petty squabbles in public.

A nasty, self-absorbed person with no redeeming features.
