Hang on though, is this going to be a case of Kush being the 'wronged' party with Denise telling him he is the dad but the dad is actually Phil? I haven't watched so don't know if she knows how far along she is yet but she hasn't been sleeping with Kush for very long so isn't it more of a chance that the baby is Phil's?

She doesn't know how far along she is. I think that she finds out next week.

Denise and Kush first slept together 2 weeks ago so it's possible that she's pregnant by him. Just very early. Apparently you can get pregnancy symptoms quickly.

The way Denise and Kush wanted each other, I doubt that they were thinking about contraception.

I think it will most likely be Kush but personally I think this would be a repetitive storyline. Kush was already part of a 'father of a baby' storyline with both Zaair (it's his one year anniversary this week) and Arthur. He even managed to impregnate Shabnam and Stacey after only one night (maybe 2 for Denise)

Kush + Denise keeping the secret from Carmel seems like Kush + Stacey keeping the secret from Martin + Shabnam. Although I think Carmel will get over it much quicker and be supportive.

But I also don't think Denise will abort it since the abortion storyline was done recently with Libby, and Denise was excited to have a new baby in the family (even though she knew the father didn't want anything to do with it)

If Kush is the dad, the only differences in the storyline will be that he ends up actually raising the child and that he supports Denise from early on.
