Hi everyone.
I have a lovely little Syrian Hamster, he has a very large home (Different cages all connected to give him plenty of room and toys)
We've just moved him (Literally just moved him about 4 hours ago), and there is a freezer right next to his cages, it can get a bit noisy, like buzzy and sometimes almost a high pitched buzz at times (I can only hear it if I listen at the back of the freezer.
It's just occurred to me, will the sound from the freezer hurt his ears or upset him? He doesn't seem too bothered, he was happily munching away on some veggies earlier and now he's having a nap. But if he is upset by the noise, he can't exactly tell me. I'm really quite worried at the moment that he's next to a sound that could hurt his ears, and he cant get away from it......
Does anyone think it'd be for the best to move him again? How would I know if he is upset by the sound?

) Hamsters have very sensitive acute hearing, far more than a person and what sounds like low buzzing to you could be quite loud, piercing ringing to him. I would relocate him to somewhere more suitable
