My area has just been 4G enabled by EE. (Good old Vodafone and O2 still only GPRS). I have run some speedtests using a HTC M9. Are these results normal for 4G or is it double speed 4G ?
Check out my Ookla Speedtest result. What's your speed? http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/1888352256

Those links don't work, but if you copy and paste you seem to be reporting speeds in excess of 100mb/s

That does sound high, maybe not many people in your area have cottoned on to the fact 4g is available yet?

As you have a 4G+ device you could of been using LTE-A although that could just be double speed 4G. Go onto the coverage checker and it will tell you what 4G you can get in your area.

Those speeds are around the maximum you can get on Double Speed 4G (only you downloading on the cell)

Most people only manage 10mbps - ooops, I mean mph.

Yes, so anything over 140 is good. My best so far is 144.5Mbps.

I am sure that now we have EE trialling 600Mbps service for Cat 10-12, at some point in the future we'll see that 150Mbps cap lifted to 200 or more.

It is only in the last six months or so that it was increased from 100 to 150.

Those speeds seem absolutely fine. EE have a cap of 150Mbps and as others have said, that could just be normal double speed 4G. I myself have hit 135.35Mbps without 4G+. I wouldn't be able to get 4G+ anyway as I have a Galaxy S5.

I've been getting 128mbps on EE in Basildon, Essex and where I live in Halstead, Essex I am seeing 90-100mbps. Crazy speeds from EE

Don't some later versions of the S5 have it?
EE seem to have reasonable amount of 2600 MHz coverage for carrier aggregation.
