Oh please. It was a screaming mess, shouty caterwauling with about as much emotional feeling as a wet fart. Shouting does not equate to emotion. I really do wish singers would learn this. Hear is a vastly superior version - Charlotte Martin Or even better, the Stones original Even the Susan Boyle version is far superior to that racket from last night.

True. I liked her a lot and I love the way she looks. This forum veers towards the obvious I find. But each to their own.
I actually like how this forum is realistic and tells things how it is, She wasn't special. She wasn't the next Leona Lewis or Amy Winehouse. It was average-decent nothing I haven't heard before. TBH she was probably on par with the lady before her, she just chose a bad song.
I've heard the same old voice before. I don't know why the judges were treating it like the angels themselves were singing. Of course she'd be popular on Youtube, You just see more positive people on Youtube than here dosen't mean they don't exist. People will probably most commonly post very broad comments like She's good or cool. As it isn't a forum as such.

Got to be the Stones for me. Definitely not Susan Boyle. She may sing all the right notes in the right order but she has no real understanding of the song.

It was Karaoke for me.
What I find strange is the fact that the show ended with Simon telling us "I love this girl, love her, love her, love her!", you can't lover her that much Simon otherwise she would have gotten the Golden Buzzer.

I would suggest that Kathleen, given her billing, the judge's reaction, the song choice and the media attention she got before the show aired, is the epitome of obvious.
I found her performance good, but nothing special. I certainly don't find her particularly memorable as a singer.

I don't like it much myself, but I liked Kathleen's singing in the quieter parts enough to think that, given the right coaching (which she is unlikely to get at BGT) she could be very good.
Pleasant but nothing spectacular and definitely not close to the top 5 versions I have heard of that wonderful song.

Yeah I see this too singers seem to think Shouting = Emotions. But theres something called senseless shouting.
I like her and thought she was better than the blonde singer who went before. The blonde lady seemed really nervous, I think shes probably a better singer than what we saw. Unfortunate for her.

Kathleen was VERY good, and she has a pure and strong voice. One of the best singers I have seen on any talent show.
The blonde girl before was OK, but basically very average. I have seen/heard better singers in a year 10 performing arts concert.
