Phew I thought you had written 'catheter' instead of catarrh.

Catheters are the best invention ever. I had one put in when I had my aortic valve operation. That was on a Friday and when I woke up on the Sunday, they took it out as they wanted me to get moving about.

It was the Tuesday evening before something else started moving, but I'll stop right there in case anyone's eating their lunch

they put one in me last week in my local A&E, my urology specialist wanted to know WHY, so do I, I am still in pain, even though it was removed after only a few minutes,
One interesting comment the A&E doctor said "I can't get hold of it now" I thought "No of course not, it doesn't want to come out and play"

I'm torn between "Ouch!" and

I was lucky in that mine was put in while I was out for the count. I wouldn't fancy being awake while they shoved it up there. It wasn't huge fun when they puled it out, but it was only the last moment when the final bit emits that I felt discomfort.

A question that you should never ever put into google because it will explode the internets.
Jen broke the internet way back, everybody knows that!

Love Clarkson, can't wait for the Grand Tour. The Fire Stick is a cracking bit of kit too.

The voice of that 'woman' ( 11 year old child??) on the 'Schpock' advert gets on my wick.
It's a voice that every female local radio DJ seems to cultivate for themselves and why I avoid local radio.

Please someone stop the Nationwide 'poetry' adverts.

Why does poetry seem so poncy?
Not always: try John Cooper Clarke

Well seeing him on a chat show wearing dark glasses and smoking, doesn't really help to disprove my point.

Even if the tittle of the poem is '****'.

I think i have seen the most stupid advert ever showing a family living in a house that has no room where you could not swing a cat

They must have know how small it was when they first bought it as i dont think it could have shrunk that must since they have been living there

The current 'Bon Marché' one boils my wee. An advert aimed at perfect women with men in the background doing clumsy things. FFS.

Yeah the schpock advert is well annoying. The very obvious marketing too, with all the girls in the ad wearing skimpy denim shorts or just knickers (I don't mind that too much)

The worst ad IMO at the moment is the Burger King one, it's been around for a while now, and all I'll say is...

"someone's getting fired. Dave, you're fired!"
"his name is actually Dave"

Ugh! That fat bloke in the middle needs binding up and throwing down a fast river.

I always find that scene so out of place in the film, the rest of film is dark and macabre but in the middle is that almost comedy type scene

I remember they did it last year and the adverts kept coming on every half an hour with that irritating song

There's a Nescafe advert. The voice says "Nescafe original now new and improved" - erm, what, how can it be "original" and "new" and "improved" all at the same time? Surely logically it can only be ONE of those?
