Duelling banjos on the co op advert. Sorry but for most people that song it associated with rape
since when, from me I associate it with a very pleasant evening when as Chairman of the PTA of a local senior school, I hosted a dance for the parents at which two of the committee members played the very number, no-one complained oir even commented, other than how nice it was to hear that number play so well.
BTW among other things the number reached No. 5 on the Hot Country Singles chart at the same time it was on the Hot 100 and Adult Contemporary Singles charts. It was also nominated for the 30th Golden Globe Awards in the Best Original Song category, now would a number associated with rape really have achieved all THAT

the OXO ad, with that stupid arrogant girl, she wouldn't be popular in my house, in fact she would never visit a second time expect to apologize.
What happened to the lovely kindly OXO ads with the lovely regrettably late Lynda Bellingham

Yakult; do I REALLY need speak Japanese to drink sour milk, in my time I have spoken 8 languages, as member who were on the BBC message boards, the now defunct Oldie message board and the Stormorphans among other will know, but none of them were needed to eat or drink "Foods" from foreign lands.
Look I am in England where they speak English and optimists are learning Chinese and the pessimists arabic

and how about BT Smart Hub Advert with Ryan Reynolds, why would I need a system where I had hang off a helicopter to get a signal?

Quite. The girl comes across as sullen and uncommunicative. Instead of saying 'oooh, what a lovely meal, thankyou!' She just silently takes a pic of it. Awful. She wouldn't be back in my house either.
I've been thinking about this and I reckon it's going to be a story (or rather a 'journey'), in which we discover the girl has some kind of personality disorder or is being treated badly at home, but she is saved by the oh-so-PC OXO family's kindness.
BTW I always preferred Katie, what a smasher she was......

...
or it could be that like a lot of young colored kids of that age that I have met, she just has an enormous chip on her shoulder , when I ran a guest house we had two girls like that, no matter how many times we told them, "Don't pile up your plates and then leave most of it, take a smaller amount and come back for more" they would just look at us and carry on loading their plates and wasting most of it.

I don't really know why but I find that ad from oakfurnitureland and all that smug knocking on wood a tad irritating.

Oxo advert for me, very uncomfortable atmosphere.
Also any Redbull advert. I find them excessively unfunny.

Premier Inn(?) I think, with those people excited about going to Slough.

Let me stop you there - I've been there. It's a s***hole that is one of the few places that would be involved by a bomb explosion.

Why would *anybody* use their service after what happened last year?

Ha. On the other hand, the passengers they carry tend to be inconsiderate and lazy

Well seeing him on a chat show wearing dark glasses and smoking, doesn't really help to disprove my point.

Even if the tittle of the poem is '****'.
I know the poem you mean koantemplation; do you think somebody had annoyed him?

Another vote for the Oxo advert, primarily because I was always brought up to be respectful to others, and if I was having dinner at a friends house I would always eat whatever I was given, even if I detested it. It is just basic manners which you'd think the girl, as a teenager, would possess.

That dreadful Co-op advert with gluttons shovelling mucky stuff into their cakeholes and food all over their faces makes me retch. I have to look away while it's on.

I agree, the only time I didn't do that was when I went to dinner with a new girl-friend, she had cook pork chops, not knowing that I was a Jew, still the vegetables were delicious

I have to look away when Corden does that 'sexy' bark to the dog in the other car, it's as cringeworthy as George Galloway saying' would you like me..............to be the cat? UGH I feel physically sick at the thought of the advert now, and it has sullied the name of ' get it on' too

Asda trying to big up Halloween is starting to grate.
Yep... just a bit. Although I do like the werewolf family, apart from the fact that mum can't talk properly with her fangs in - that let's the whole thing down quite badly in my view. I'm loving the make-overs and then they can't be arsed to get someone to talk properly or do a dub?

"Only the shpeshull onesh." Pah.
