That's the Sky Q box, but you're right when is there ever 4 unmissable shows on at the same time?
or two eeeven, if fact I sometimes find it hard to find ONE, if it's not watching water boil, or watching grass grow it's watching paint dry, that is when it's not idiotic quiz shows, e.g.Q; "In which continent is the river Plate", contestant "France"

There's an advert for wrigleys gum where a woman is in her wedding dress jilting her fiance and the voice over says he has a car, cash, career, condo but he doesn't have you.

Then why the smeg would you date him and say yes to marrying him only to jilt him then?
How does that make her or the product look good especially the that smug look on her face.

And what the balls does it have to do with gum?

^ Aah, that's nothing - I saw a P&O commercial saying that you can now book your cruise for Summer 2018!

I know cruises are popular, but damn.

As the point of schemes like Park Catalogue are to save for an event in instalments over an extended period, when exactly do you think they should start advertising

They have awful customer service and the air ram thing is not very useful
Agreed - not very efficient - we found the Vax cordless far better and excellent customer service too.

good for you, but the test is, was your mother Jewish
Yes it goes through the maternal line doesn't it? I've no idea if she was but it's more likely to be mother as dad's family were solid Lancashire stock.

And "amazing" isn't the only positive adjective in the English language. Amazing as that may be.
Tell that to Kate Humble. It's the only adjective she can come up with.

never mind, although most Rabbis wouldn't agree, my attitude is, if you would have ended up with us in a concentration camp, like my family, keep our laws and believe in the Torah, I consider you one of us

Well, Dad was a ginger and Mum a blond haired blue eyed gal, i.e. looked very Aryan.

On the original topic, another advert that gets my goat is the Flash one with the singing dog - an insult to a fine dog and a fine band, though I don't suppose they mind the royalties!

Which is bizarre considering she's got one as a surname.

There once was a company called Natwest
Who thought adverts in rhyme were the best
But poems about a bank?
People though they were rank.
And decided not to invest.

I agree- most of them are awful ...but, I do like the one '.....this place, is ours' - much nostalgia in that.

(Been with Nationwide bank for perhaps 22 years now too).

Oft mentioned in this thread, it's been on for years but at least they had to decency to update it recently. Is the G-Tech actually any good? I don't know anyone who's ever bought one!
