I'm sorry if this has been mentioned before - I don't think so though. The AO ad where the child has to bake a cake at school tomorrow but - Oh No! The freezer is broken! What on earth to do...! Thank heavens for AO who quick as a flash deliver a freezer, then Mum is shown loading it up with vegetables.
Hooray - all the necessary items for cake baking now in place! Hold on - what? I am not familiar with the need for freezers with baking, much less veg - although my mate did make me an amazing courgette cake - I don't think its what I would consider 'the norm'. Why on earth not choose to show their oven delivery capabilities - they sell ovens - a missed opportunity I feel. It makes me scream at the telly every time... What? Why would she not have had a fridge freezer for all those years and only got one now? Maybe she means she only had a small fridge and got a bigger one, but she doesn't say that. There is also a silly one for the Open University with a woman saying that she was always interested in astronomy but was told there was no future in it. She says that with the support of the OU she now has her degree. It doesn't mention if she has actually got a job in her chosen field due to doing the degree. Pointless advert. |

The 118 188 loan commercials.
Also, how does a company go from directory enquiries to pay day loans? |

Dominoes pizza advert with the talking artwork, stupid accents
2 Betway adverts both along the same lines, 1st two guys stranded in a cabin on a snowy mountain one is fighting off a bear while the other puts a free bet on 2nd they are lost at sea surrounded by sharks and ones putting a bet on, if you've a signal to bet you've got a signal to phone for help but I'm probably over thinking it

The Maltesers ads are incredibly patronising.

My latest gripe is the latest gadget from Amazon that talks to you in a Cortana type of delivery. why on earth would anybody want one of these contraptions
There is nothing on this earth would persuade me to own one of these devices with its patronising tone, never ever |

What grates me about that advert is that if he loves his dog enough for all those products and the special night and whatever else it was, why did he have to ask the device to find out that it was today he was coming back from the vets!

Isn't it about time someone put those darned meerkats out of their misery (cute for about 2 months), along with the Hepburn lookalike in the Galaxy ad (already mentioned ad nauseum). They've gone beyond outstaying their welcome, all of them.

And still trying to use that naughty, coquettish giggle from the 60s & 70s Carry Ons. Today it sounds like she's trying to dislodge a fishbone.
Also, the Kraken Rum ad, showing a ship being attacked by a huge, oily squid, whose disgusting suckers are shown in loving detail. Pure nightmare fuel. Who' d want todrink Kraken Rum after that? |

I wish the family in the Iceland advert would wash the fish tank.

Not sure what the actual advert is for, but the one with Will.I.Am "reinventing" a classic as he puts it by putting a horrendously cheap dance beat over Otis Reading's Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay

Amazon Echo..
cares so much for this dog. A machine has to tell him he's back from the Vet then they play "just the two of us", and whoever came up with that idea got paid an obscene amount ... |

when either of my little girls are at the vets, I am sitting on egg shells until they phone to say, "Come get them", I won't even stay anywhere over night because I don't want to be separated from them, as Susan Calman says "They are my children"
Would never leave them overnight either - we invite them into our lives, know they'll break our hearts one day, love them and keep them safe, and get unconditional love in return Definitely don't need a gizmo' to remind me about ours! |

We're just the same - at the vets, and we're watching the clock - even phoning a little early in case we can get them sooner.

I work from home and every so often one or both come into my office and ask for treats. |

Bet Victor.
I would explain why, but I'll get this art collector to explain. |
