Re: the "teenage" annoying son from Tesco's ad
its like poochy from the Simpsons
So annoying they didn't even bother trying to explain why he vanished

I like the Very ad this year, and the Aldi ad with the carrot!

When will adverting agencies realise that using 'cute kids' being little smart arses is NOT cute and clever.

I'm looking at you Virgin Media and your excerable 'WE are the masters of the remote' ad.
Oh yes ...that is cringe worthy!

Ah... when the kid says 'Always keep away from children' at the end, I assumed she meant I was to keep away from children. Well, I do my best to avoid children most of the time!!
True - and the thought did cross my mind ...because it's what I do anyway too!

That's why ads with 'cute' kids annoy me. Santander, with the blonde kid drumming and mum at the end rolling her eyes. Grrrr!
Oh ...the one with the precocious little madam that's given a drum kit? ...I couldn't have told you whose ad it was because that child is so very off-putting!

The smug granddad who suggests playing Trivial Pursuits after Christmas Dinner.
I can't remember what the ad is for.

The Aviva ad. where they 'age' a man and a woman, and project what their relative private pensions will be when they retire, in today's money. The 'old boy' will be getting about £160 a week, the 'looking very good for her age' woman's forecast is £500 odd per week!!!!!! (That's more than my husband earns). Of course!!

Just seen the new M&S Christmas advert with Santa and his wife. Santa looks like someone with a crack addiction who's just been released from prison after serving hard labour for killing kiddies!
Men-bashing and racist.

I dislike the Barclay Card advert - the one with the lady jumping up and down and the parrot. Not because it's an annoying advert (to me) but because the door bell at the end is exactly the same as mine and if I am not quick enough to change channels or mute the sound then Keith my cat goes ballistic thinking someone is at the door. After running around the living room in a manic panic he exits through the cat flap and takes half an hour to return trembling at the thought of a visitor being present - not the most sociable of cats is Keith.
Aw Keith the cat I like that name. I've recently adopted two I named Leonard and Reginald

Saw an ad yesterday where the selling point of the mattress was that it springs back after sex. It's pretty blatant and am unsure how they got that on tv at 5pm. It was odd though - trying to be all sexy but it came across like how a robot would imagine those times- forced and a bit disturbing.

I can't believe they describe the son as an 'up and coming' actor. I hope he has another source of income otherwise he might well starve

In that case, he's been murdered and his body stuffed in the cellar. Send in the cops and get these awful adverts off our screens!

It's the evening before, lots of families have a full meal on xmas eve, and it adds to the whole magical story, I love it

I have never known anybody do that. The last thing I'd want before bed is a heavy roast dinner!

He was killed on his back to his home planet, I think.

Something I did notice though is that the Curry's/PC World "Gold/Frankincense/Headphones" ad bucks the trend of making the man look foolish for a change. Which is nice.

The Worcester Bosch (or something like that) advert with the precocious child who has obviously had mommy and daddy pay lots of money for acting school.

We dont know what time it is, could be 6 pm, anyway, without it the ad would not work, its all about Kevin getting to the plate and having to get past all those things that some hold dear about xmas, and showcasing some of the food they sell you, it is the sweetest ad this year, I dont think there will be one to top it.
