Ive just seen an advert on Channel 4 , advertising advertisements ?? it said "Don't miss an ad break during Gogglebox, exclusive from 9pm"

WTF is going on where they have to advertise an advert coming out

That advert for that money-saving website with the bald, bearded guy sitting on the hippo. He seriously gives me the creeps.

And those kitchen roll ads with the Spanish guy saying 'one sheet' in the over-the-top accent. Is it supposed to sound quite so much like he's saying 'one s***'?
Being pedantic but he doesnt say "one sheet", he says his name "Jaun Sheet

Just seen the one for Alzheimer's Society mentioned on 'This Morning'. Santa develops the condition which I feel is a little off. Despite them saying it will only air after 9 pm, some children will hear and see it somehow.

OK, it is capable of striking anyone, but have they gone too far here ?

I thought the ad was utterly awful.

The introduction came up, like some cute Christmas ad was coming up, and

Pretty shameful begging for money too.

Few ads really get to me, but I can't stand that daft woman doing the Mexican wave on the train!

'What the hell- xmas stuff already? I still smell after my family tried to throw me on the bonfire'

So wait a second... have Tesco just created a Christmas advert that is complaining about Christmas adverts?
Yeah, but in the end she sees the error of her ways, so it's alright.

L'oreal Revitalift, with the haggard old celebs doing the product no favours and Mr Voiceover Man claiming it will make your skin "redensified" (surely one of sorriest made-up-sciency-type-words yet concocted).

Happy Egg Co. ad using a classic Northern Soul dance track in 'Do I Love You'; the first three dancers make a decent stab at it, even the little girl, but the last dancer ruins it all. Shoulder shimmying has no place in Northern Soul dancing.

But since it's all scripted, why keep up the pretence?

Either realise Christmas ads that are too early, piss people off and so, don't do them, or if you do insist on doing them, have the balls to own it.

This halfway house, trying to win the cynics over stuff is pretty nauseating.

The animals are done beautifully. I saw two badgers today, both dead by the side of the road. In the country you don't see as many foxed as in towns, maybe cos there's more food.
I saw a dead fox by the side of the road the other day, and I promptly burst into tears. Someone once told me such foxes aren't usually run over, but are dumped after being hunted. Whether they're right or not I don't know, but some humans really are awful.

I read about it and thought it was bloody stupid to do a advert like that. Surely they could have come up with a different ad that didnt have santa to let people know about the disease.

I've heard that about badgers too. Farmers shoot or poison them (yes, it does go on) and then dump the body on a road to look like an accident. Husband accidentally hit a badger years ago (he couldn't avoid it) and it took weeks and cost a fair bit to repair the car! And nobody to claim off!

'Nah, bring it on.'

I wonder if those actors realise how much credibility they've lost doing these awful ads. But I quite miss the moronic son. He somehow made it all 100 times worse, so bad they were compelling!

Absolutely loathing the House of Fraser/ Fugees weirdness

And just heard/ saw a new ad twice this evening in quick succession - for Audi Sport - with yet ANOTHER twee breathy girl breathy-singing in a baby voice

This time she's warbling Homeward Bound - a song originally written and performed by Simon & Garfunkel. She bloody MURDERS it.

RAGE

One of those songs that can't be improved upon. Paul Simon apparently wrote it at Crewe station!

Slenderman was in an advert?
I'm curious as to how the documentary is based off an advert.
