Is anyoine else getting really irritated by that BT advert with that idiot hanging on the helicopter screaming.
As he holds on that skid bar it would be great to put one foot out of the copter and stamp on his hand or wack it had with a big stick. At least it would give him something to scream about

That the one with Geordie Santa?

I've seen it about six times and is getting right under my skin - too long - and the dialogue is cringeworthy. Used to like the Geordie accent
Yes! It's unbearable.. the bad acting, corny dialogue and the fact that the Geordie Santa is blatantly a 30 year old under heavy make-up and his wife is pushing 60.

The whole thing..just grim.

If only he really was 200m up in the air rather than a couple of inches above a green screen and shed loads of CGI...

Has anyone mentioned the advert for Nice 'n Easy hair colourant? The voiceover says something along the lines of "In a world that's trying to turn you into someone new, one hair colour wants to help you to keep on being you".

How exactly? By encouraging you to dye your hair, thereby replacing your natural colour, and changing your look? It makes absolutely no sense, and is contradictory!

Well stay out of it then, and or bore off. I haven't been on here in just over a week but this has to be one of the funniest threads on DS. Keep the laughter going people!
I agree, I usually read this thread during my lunch break at work, and as I have said previously it brightens my day up, there are some real comedians out there, long may this thread continue.

It's real outrage not only at the advertisers but also people in general ( including some DS posters) who assume that EVERYONE over 60 likes all that carp.
Every time an advert for a CD comes on I turn to hubby and say 'I don't want that one!' He bought me a dire CD one year for my birthday, and he's never lived it down.

Who exactly is he supposed to be anyway.

Im guessing a celeb because BT has a habbit of using hollywood stars.

Ryan Reynolds, quite well known in some parts. But clearly less so in others

The Head & Shoulders ad with those women admiring their hair. "Gonna pull tonight." Just because you washed your hair with H&S? Doubt it love.
