They seriously need to take that prostate cancer advert off TV, with the annoying kid in a hat, explaining to his Dad about "Adult nap time"
Is that the best they could come up with , someone needs to be sacked for putting that on airI dread to think what the testicular cancer ad will be, always assuming that they care enough to make one, after all they seem to think, if it doesn't affect women it doesn't matter, as witness the length of time that it took to screen even this disgusting and insulting one |

Oh, go away FFS. I've been through two long term relationships since this sodding ad started. Must be at least 5 years old? ![]() you really do go in for long term relationships

U Switch.
My TV is LCD, so the glass knocking bit just looks stupid when it comes on here. And as someone else stated, you're asking me to come to your site, why feel the need to be so demanding and forceful? |

(small print at the bottom of screen, Made In Germany) Pizzas advertsied as Italian or 'Real Italian Taste' - small print 'Made in Germany' Italian Spaghetti Bolognese - small print 'Made in Holland' The last one always bugged me as Holland is not a country, its a region in the Netherlands. Similar to when Americans say England when they mean the UK. Although nowadays most adverts will use the word 'style' in the voiceover so they don't need a small print disclaimer. For example 'Greek Style' yogurt. |

^^ The most embarrassing one for me was the New York bagel company, where the stereotyped New Yorker is prattling on about how much he loves New York, says we "need a taste of New York", then it flashes up that they are made in the UK
Seriously, some ads are so phoney, it's laughable.Another more recent one says something like "Italian pizza... perfect for the freezer!" Yeah like freezing a pizza wouldn't in fact be total blasphemy to any self respecting Italian pizza place! |

The dreadful Crunchie ad with the very badly done fake mouth (fad of the month it seems), and the even more dreadful Cadbury's 'Leicester' ad. Cheap crap for the brain-dead.
Also hate the badly done stop motion type ads, the Weetabix one was annoying, now there's one for some yogurt bar with a woman body popping(?) in an office that's really annoying at the moment. I can't believe someone gets paid to churn out adverts like that, which probably took someone about ten seconds to come up with, there's no effort or quality about it at all. |

Chicago Town Pizza - the real authentic taste of the American version of the genuine Italian food, made by a German company on an industrial estate in Leyland, Lancashire.
Big open LA storm drains as featured in Terminator 2, The Core, In Time, and never mind they are all listed here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_An...lming_location though having said that, maybe that's the point, someone wanting a taste of the home town pizza...? p.s. also sincerest apologies for calling a river a drain though on the other hand I know I've been rude about the Thames in the past so nobody's getting special treatment. Unless they drank the water. |

Is that the one that looks like it was filmed in the storm drains of LA, or does Chicago have ones like that too?

Here, we'd put a housing estate on it and then act surprised when they flood. |

Yes, there is a Chicago Town pizza advert recorded in the LA river basin.
though I haven't seen it 2000 times so that may yet happen ![]() Quote:

Unfortunately that's one of those things that could genuinely be funny if we didn't keep doing it.

I just had to quote this post. Out of all the ads in all the world I hate this one the most. That woman gets on my t*ts soooo much I can't bare it. My husband knows how I feel about her and the adverts so now he pretends he fancies her just to wind me up some more *grrrrr*
![]() I agree though, it is an annoying ad. |

I really can't stand that new L'Oreal advert with Karlie Kloss (all I know about her is she is another friend of Taylor Swift) and that bloody annoying "tap tap" sound being repeated. It's the annoying way in which she says it and how she does it about five times in the ad.

Yeah, that too. I've seen that program "Can't pay, we'll take it away" before where some relative has had a visit from the bailiffs! They're always really shocked and confused by it too like "My daughter wouldn't do this!", yeah right. Makes me wonder how many people just naively sign this sort of thing off for a friend or relative and end up getting stung.
You would need to have a screw loose to be a guarantor. Some people seem to assume that you're just giving a character reference or something. NO. You will have to pay the money/loan repayments/rent etc, if the person you are being a guarantor for doesn't cough up! So unless you can comfortably afford to lose the money that is the loan amount. SAY NO TO BEING A GUARANTOR! Quote:

Noticed TalkTalk have started advertising on TV again after last year's huge security breach and losing loads of customers as a result. Yeah good luck with that guys.

The advert for a soap satchet (Persil?) where the Lady appears to be having it off with the help. Making light of adultery!?
