Toffifee is highly irritating with the family all sitting around laughing with joy as they eat the cheap plastic looking toffee.

"There's so much fun with toffifee!" Why? Why is it fun?

It doesn't only look like plastic.

My god do I really hate that stupid f****** Legoland sun advert. The dad acts like a complete t*at and the kids acting all gangsta.

They look so arrogant and full of themselves.

Another one to add to the list of songs butchered by crap covers:

Blue Cross for Pets butchering Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive"

ITV's relentless advertising for ITV2's Love Island is just irritating. I wouldn't watch that trash if you paid me.

Estrella Damm - Pretentous 'movie' for a ****ing beer
It name drops the actors in it like I'm supposed to know who the heck they are. The film looks really boring!

VW have an advert with a moody teenage girl. Why is it all girls, and in fact most women in adverts are really stroppy?!

I know we go on about how advertising is towards men, but it's just something I noticed recently- pretty much all women in ads seem to sit around rolling their eyes at EVERYTHING. I even saw an ad once, were a guy cooked a meal and as he takes it out of the oven, the woman rolls her eyes at him... WHY?!

Even that girl on the sky advert rolls her eyes at Quicksilver, I mean jeez, what would a guy have to do to impress you, put the moon on a stick? Girls are just so indifferent towards superheroes these days...

On the other hand one of the stars' names they are dropping is as far as I know most famous for making a movie espousing the virtues of an abusive relationship, something often jokingly associated with a certain well-known and reassuringly expensive lager... star quality one might say, plus or minus an 'r'...

I know I was only saying Princess Anne the other "Name dropping is so pretentious" when I was having dinner at Charles and Camilla's

The Thomas Cook ad with that show off child dancing to some awful song.
It's the sponsor ad for Granada weather as well, so on all the time.

I attacked that one weeks ago, and one mental DS poster thought my 'annoying little kid should be thrown in the pool' comment meant I actually advocated assaulting a child.

Sell beer to young women by using a lassie best known for having her boobs wired to a car battery (I haven't seen the film or read the book, so I just assuming that's the sort of thing what goes on in the book/film lol..........

Obviously made by the same ad agency - one with no imagination!

You can so often tell when an agency has a new toy, or when someone gets promoted and wants their 'signature thing' on as many of their ads as possible.

When there's a new film out there seems to be some period of exclusive specialness after which they all get to use the super effects. Or the licence for the effects is so expensive that to justify the cost they have to use it in *everything*. Then add the ones where a rival has seen it and thought "hey, that's really clever and/or astoundingly witty and satirical, we can do that too but cheaper".

Woman haivng nightmares about spitting out loose teeth.

"Do you spit blood when brushing your teeth?"

Are toothpaste manufacturers in some sort of competition to come up with the scariest advert?

Yes because now that everybody has day-glo bleached hyper-reflective* teeth the only way beyond that would be to have them internally illuminated - the focus is now much more heavily on the gum protection which lends itself to lots of scary scenarios, at least one of which is a common nightmare and/or scene from a horror movie.
And even more products on top of those you already buy

* the same principle as the stuff used in the white bands on hi-vis vests and traffic cones and signs, but NB time limited to a few hours before it washes away see the small print...

Please can someone get rid of that Mikado advert as seeing it once was more than enough but it seems to be on every day now. Tried them once and they weren't even that special at all.

A little stick dipped in chocolate? It might be filling if you're a 5ft tall teenage girl from Japan but I prefer something more substantial.

I tried them when Tesco had them on offer for 69p or something.

Wouldn't pay 69p again and certainly not the full price. I'm still trying to see their point as their is not a lot to them.
