That Lewis Hamilton L'Oreal advert is so excruciatingly embarrassing.

This one has just been on and everybody will be pleased to know that the small print at the bottom of the screen does say 'return within 30 days' and 'return perishables before they get squishy' and 'exclusions apply'.

It may or may not turn out that you can only do this when you want to swap a watermelon for a pineapple because any other exchange would be perceived as 'illogical, therefore an attempted scam' and possibly 'vexatious', especially if you tried it more than several dozen times a week.
Also, "it's lighter because of evaporation" doesn't work if they can see where you hollowed it out and put it back together again.

It is ONLY in London, as obviously the troglodytes who live in every other town and City in the UK have no interest in watching films.

This has been going on for years, and really annoys me.
Why not at least try other cities ?
Proms in the Park does it quite successfully

Even when I lived near London, I would not travel all the way in to the centre just to watch a film.

The voice used for Fred makes him sound like he's under sedation, couldn't they have got someone who actually sounds like Fred did.

I have posted numerous times before against the current trend of ads showing men as weak, or gormless, or idiots.

However recently I stumbled upon an old BBC 2 documentary series from 1990. The series was called BBC Washes Whiter. It was a 5 part series about the televisual advertsing industry over its first 35 years in the uk (1955-1989). And the best thing about it is that it is a 1990 BBC documentary so its only a voiceover and information from advertsing executives and directors and experts (none of this modern thing of asking the general public or soap stars to give their uninformed opinions).

I'll post a link to the second episode which is about how men were shown in UK TV advertising in the mid 50's through to the end on the 80's.

Turns out that since the early-mid 1960's men have been shown to be incompetent compared to women, except in ads for products directed at men (alcohol, tabbaco, cars, aftershave ect).

Silly advert, whoever thought this one up needs a good slap. I do most of my shopping online and the driver once told me that if you refuse a substituted item it does not go back into stock. In fact I've heard that you can refuse a substitution, be refunded for it, then ask the driver to give it to you! Never tried this as if I don't want it - well, i just don't want it!

The dancing poo on a CD player with some older guy showing it things as if it's real while two younger colleagues look on in amazement.

That chuffing James Martin ASDA advert - incredibly wooden, stilted and cringe worthy. Are they using the same advert agency as Tesco by any chance? Absolutely terrible.

Not to mention that the size of the sandwich he makes for circa 6 people at a picnic is hilariously small, they'll be lucky if it stretches to a slice each. If this was me I'd not be saying "Thanks James!" I'd be saying "WTF is this? You do realise there's 6 of us don't you. Thanks for ruining the picnic you t**t!".
