I was wondering what this is referring to as well doesn't make sense, you're also correct that agencies seem to make comedy out of an injury, can't remember laughing when I suffered said injury.

James Martin for Asda - he seems to be spending his weekends living with different families, like the school hamster. 'I don't mind having him next time, as long as he doesn't make me eat cauliflower couscous'

I hate that ad too. I can't quite work out why, but he really annoys me, and I can't stand his face!

AWFUL! She is a weird looking thing; very moley. And I have gone right off that Buzzcocks song now.

Hate that too. Stupid, and poorly acted.

Also hate this. Adele is good, but so over-rated IMO. A serious case of the Emperor's New Clothes.

The burger king(?) ad with the video in portrait mode of the couple in the car doing a load of fist-pump type thing and the guy has a very aggressive/angry look on his face, is that really meant to get me to buy their stuff? And are they using the part of the same music as one of the pizza adverts?

The "In the Doghouse" anti-drink drive advert. It makes the man look stupid when he did the CORRECT thing and the girlfriend/wife is a stupid cow

He's speaking Cornish I think Subtitles would be helpful though as all I can make out is the part where he says the flavours.

As he doesn't have any injuries and has just been beaten by his wife it's clearly a reference to him just being emasculated by a woman so is playing on the tennis phrase and the insult that he has no balls anymore.

you are right in that he is speaking Cornish cos it's Cornish ice cream - it's his accent that makes it sound worse

Horrendous advert, and yet again advertisers manage to get their man hating agenda across. stupid man for not wanting to pick up his drunk wife when he has had 2 drinks himself how dare he? lets portray him as downtrodden and weak.

Well she does the final shot with relish that's for sure. Maybe Voltarol should be on the banned substance list.

I like them. The dry voice of the dog.

ad for a program on Spike, "New and exclusive to Spike, also available on ....."

it reminds me of my time spent as a market spieler "Now then ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, who wants this unique item, there is only one, so the first person with his arm up, thank you, gentleman over there, now who else wants one"

I just can't understand how anyone with even half a brain came up with this series of appalling adverts.

So, the message they want to give us is that drinking two as opposed to one drink will "double your chance of a fatal crash" - so, what is the point of adding to that with the underlying message that everyone will think you are an idiot?

Makes me look back with great fondness on the Late, great Bill Hicks' marketing campaign http://genius.com/Bill-hicks-on-adve...ting-annotated

Do bear in mind, this link does contain what some may regard as offensive language etc. so if you of an opverly-sensitive disposition you may want to avoid
