A new a Staples one, where the woman says her kids are "going back to school tomorrow" and the employee's voice doesn't match his facial movements.

It's definitely to reduce admin costs. I've worked in places where, in making financial decisions, we've had discussions over the phone with people, and trusted what they've said, since sending in proof of certain things is going to take an age to get processed. Conversely, some people will ring up and be honest... drop themsleves in it... and then wish they hadn't phoned up at all.

I remember one of Amigo Loans' first ads featured two people impersonating Mexicans, dressed in ponchos and sombreros, with a donkey involved in there somewhere - who in their right mind would borrow money from somewhere based on that? If their advert doesn't take itself seriously, then I would avoid their company.”
Sounds a bit dodgy about the donkey

One does not simply... have their texts read out in Sean Bean's voice
