The Fairy liquid one with the kid who wants to build a rocket ship.

Annoying partly because the kid is so whiney, and partly because he's wearing a spaceman outfit when he asks for the bottle, but not when he plays with it. But most of all it's annoying because the new style fairy bottles just don't make a good rocket ship. Yes, when they were the iconic tall white cylinder they made a decent Saturn V rocket, but the new shape is not right for a rocket ship, therefore the spaceship he does build is just rubbish.
that's either a VERY old ad or they have re-shot it, haven't seen it recently, but do remember from many years ago, what next,
"Murray Mints, Murray Mint the too good to hurry mints" ah for they days when ads were fu AND actually advertised the product

Any Apple or Sky advert - the voiceovers are always really smug sounding!
Agreed. Also Sky's euphemistic use of the word "join", as in "when you join Sky". You don't "join" anything, what you do is "subscribe". Or "pay". Money. A lot.

And the oh-so-cutesy and oh-so-American animal animations they use (no, I don't know or care what they're referencing, though I'd guess it's a film Sky has a serious interest in). Please don't tell me they're aimed at the adults who pay the subscription rather than their children; I'm sure family-friendly Sky would never stoop to encouraging pester power.

I thought I couldn't despise and loathe L'oreal's adverts any more deeply but they beat me. Yes folks, they actually describe their hair spray as "iconic".

Yes indeed Istvan, and I hereby present the great Frank Muir from the 1970s :

Yes, they did do the "I want to build a rocket" advert back when the bottle looked like a rocket. I can only assume that some "bright spark" in the advertising agency said, "why don't we do the kid waiting for his rocket again" without realising that it makes no sense to do that anymore with the new bottle shape.

The point of the advert is to show how long the kid has to wait because a bottle lasts so long.

Which brings me to another annoyance on the ad, I just realised I had - the kid first asks for the bottle WHEN IT IS FULL - so that means he's only just missed out on getting the old one by mere seconds. Go on son, dig in the recycling bin, it's probably still in there if you look hard enough.

Because he has the most enormous cheek(s)! I can't stand the man. He was barely tolerable in Gavin and Stacey.

The advert where some guy is at an airport or something, totally in his own world and sits down whilst not realising that someone else is sitting on the seat.

Now instead of politely accepting the guys apology and instantly killing about 90% of the awkwardness, this tool just continues glaring at the poor guy for what seems like ages, generally making the atmosphere even more uncomfortable. It's people like the guy that was sat on that represent a lot that is wrong with society imo.
The whole advert is absolutely inane and moronic.

he's famous for being famous
Award winning stage actor
Award winning writer of sitcom
Film Actor
Stage actor - starred in London and on Broadway in "One man two Guvnors"
Successful US Chatshow host

Famous for being famous (IMHO) is the likes of Joey Essex

I am not a huge fan of Corden - he went through a Chris Evans style "fruitcake" stage,
but returned to acting and is now reaping the rewards.

I think it's more the loudmouth "lad banter" schtick he seems to think makes him funny but just annoys most people.

The Fairy liquid one with the kid who wants to build a rocket ship..
I finished a botle of Fairy Liquid the other day, just as I saw the kid begging for an empty bottle.... I threw it in the bin. HA!!!!

Also, does anyone get the joke in that furniture store ad where the woman from Homes Under The Hammer says "It's a good excuse to lighten up a bit!"??
Ah, is that why Lucy quit? I haven't seen those.

The EE/BT Sport one - words can't even describe how inescapably awful that commercial is.

Also, the James Cordon one - to (misquote) Con Air: "An idiot driving a car to a song made famous by a band whose singer died in a car crash."

For years I've avoided shows with James Corden, because I find him irritating - now I get him at every ad-break !

The Asda advert where the woman jokes at his sunburn.
The assistant says 'Your Red (wine)'.
He should get revenge and say, 'Yes and my wife is fat'

Havent they always done that, in the 90's they had one with a glamourous woman and a bloke singing a cheesy MOR ballad, you think he's singing about her but she's feeding the bloody cat

This was the closest I could find to the English version:

Any ad for McDonalds. Have the people responsible for the ads EVER stepped foot inside one of the restaurants? Happy and attractive customers and employees who smile? Where is this magical place?

It's right next door to where all the slim and deliriously happy twenty-somethings play endless bingo games.
