Your absolutlely right. A couple of years back this betting company decided to use the 'honest' approached and had an advert starring the same woman as the Dave sponser clips.
In the orginal advert she walks around a football game, a casino & a race course going on about how the great and educated gambler has systems and knowlegde to 'beat the house'. She then back to her office and admits that she is the house and has just make x amount that day and that all gamblers are pretty much mugs. She then lays down a challenge which went something like:-
If you think you can beat me, then go ahead, try your luck.
I did try to find the advert on youtube, but it seems to have been taken down. Possible because it may have, as you said, gone against the current industry voluntary "When the Fun Stops, Stop" responsible gambling campaign.
