I do wish that the Doctor Who trailer were an actual trailer. Like, wedging in a few clips amongst the behind-the-scenes stuff is a bit frustrating for those of us who try to avoid the behind-the-scenes stuff. Of course they've only just finished filming so it's fair enough, and it's nly a minor complaint... it looks like it could be good.
The second Class trailer is very different to the first. Looking awesome though, and I love that they likened it to both Buffy and Once Upon a Time directly. The show already seems quite self-aware which is a good thing, and the Doctor's speechless response to the likenesses was priceless! |

My main concern with Class is that it's going to be tryhard, edgy-for-the-sake-of-it nonsense.
Neither trailer does anything to alleviate those fears. I also don't think it's a good idea for The Doctor to be there at all, RTD got it right when he kept him as far away from Torchwood as possible. It's like the BBC don't actually know who these shows are made for anymore. |

Or me being silly. You decide. (It was me being silly. Sorry about that, Billy.) Hang on, a Classic Series writer?? |

Still four - for now
![]() I enjoyed the Class trailer to be honest. Definitely looking forward to the premiere in a few weeks. Things are shaping up good.

I agree. I thought it looked terrible, lots of middle-class, good looking teenagers acting scared and then being heroes and saving the day.

It's a genuine leak of a page of the script!

A Class & Christmas Special teaser in the same day (and a Grand Tour trailer
). Happy Friday!A classic series writer is also returning to pen an episode. I would LOVE this to be Uncle Terrance, but i suspect it isn't as the wonderful Mr Dicks is in his 80s now. Oh, I know, it's Graeme Curry's long awaited Happiness Patrol sequel, isn't it? |

Isn't there a monster from the Happiness Patrol returning though? It must be him.

'Resurrection of the Kandyman'? 'Return to the Kandy Kitchen'? 'Hello Sweetie'?
Bring it on!!! I'd be pleased with any of the names mentioned. I love the Mara stories, so Chris Bailey would be my first choice, mind. But I'll go for Rona Munro as most likely out of those being suggested. eta Only say that because 'Survival' has a sort of C21 Who vibe to it. Then again, as a big fan of the era, maybe SM has got a Davison era writer on board for his swansong series? Rather exciting! |

I'm actually looking forward to this special. The superhero idea might actually work and the Class trailer was pretty good too.

“We have got some new writers,” Moffat began with a crooked smile. “We’re not rolling them all out now. Oh, I could do one fun thing. We’ve got Mike Bartlett coming in. He’s just done ‘The Haunted Hub,’ a brilliant script

I'm looking forward to it as well. Haven't looked forward so much to a Christmas special since The End Of Time. Which I thoroughly enjoyed.
![]() I definitely enjoy his writing more when he's writing a one off, as opposed to when he's writing an arc. |

Loved Survival and having her back for a story for Series 10 would be great. |
