The only titles that are genuine are A Star In Her Eye, The Haunted Hub and The Eaters Of Light. Rest of them are fake.

The Haunted Hub has not been confirmed and is not an episode title.

Yep it is, both the title and David Suchet's involvement in it were announced in mid-August.

'The Haunted Hub'- a gaggle of bitter, mis-guided but ultimately well meaning Ianto Jones fan-girls take a Ouija board down to Cardiff Bay. Chaos ensues,

To my knowledge, they only announced David Suchet's involvement, not an episode title. Trust me though, that is not the title.

Moffat at New York Comic Con
So that seems to have been the name at some point in the production process even if it isn't now. |

I wish we knew more about the guest cast for next years series. In the first few years the production team often used to let us know a bit beforehand, now it's a bit frustrating not knowing who, what, how etc...
Thank god for David Suchet. I'm sure he will be a great guest! |

Sorry but why are you bothered about guest cast members
If it's a big enough star or an interesting one that has a broad appeal, it can entice new viewers into the show. It's all about the publicity. The fact all we know in terms of guest stars for Series 10 is David Suchet (a good name by the way) is very underwhelming. In previous series, they'd tell us in advance of the names to be seen in the episodes ahead. It just builds anticipation....something that I certainly don't get with the show anymore... |

Well I'm interested in them because it does build excitement in the show. Knowing a certain actor or actress is going to appear in an upcoming episode builds excitement for viewers.

Not the most promising thing i've read. But not terrible either, glad we have seen a review which isn't all positive. |

I must admit I've never been particularly bothered by who the guest cast is; a few times recently there's been a fuss in the promotion for the show about some wonderful actor or actress and it turns out to someone from Eastenders or whatever that I've never heard of. David Suchet, yes, he could be interesting but to be honest it makes no difference. In fact sometimes if it's someone like Kylie Minogue, who is a big name, it detracts from the story, which is in effect set in another world and technically not this one. And she was in a dreadful one anyway so is forever synonymous with the awfulness of it
![]() The show has to help itself in my books and announcing stars for upcoming episodes does that. Series 9 spent too much time on promoting Maisie Williams, who although a big name to some, isn't universally known to everyone. Not everyone watches Game of Thrones and as a result it kind of made every other guest star feel insignificant. The show has to big up its guest stars and get us excited about them. The fact it isn't is bad in my eyes. Quote:

DWTV have more teasers .....
Literally, the first thing you see is quite graphic. The Doctor is “expected.” At first, I was reminded of the final scene of “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe,” but the joke’s payoff is even more clever. And, actually, Amy and Rory do get referenced, though it is one of Who’s most subtle in-jokes in a long while. Um . . . that was not a Jelly Baby. The Doctor’s plan: wait for it to pass. (Ew.) The “complication” in Grant’s life is a really fun surprise. “I’m in hell. Naked hell. . . . I have X-ray eyes. I like everyone.” “I’ll hurt Mr. Huffle.” (This woman is crazy. This scene is so nuts, my jaw was literally dropped.) “I prefer ‘mild-mannered.’” She comes when you whistle. “I created a distraction. I flooded downstairs with *******.” Every leader has a zipper in their head . . . but it’s not the Slitheen. “Who are you?” “I’m the nanny!” (Best use of a baby monitor ever!) “You’ll be fine. The ship will have blown up long before you are strangled to death.” U.N.I.T.! (And not just U.N.I.T., but ******, too!) http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/the-ret...sers-82152.htm |

I'm guessing when it comes to tomorrow's episode it helps to be a fan of the Christopher Reeves Superman films, as it sounds like a big tribute to them overall.

So the episode has a plot point of the Doctor meeting someone when they are a child, effecting them in some way, and then the doctor meeting back up with them when they are a adult... Well I'm glad Moffat has come up with something outside of his repetitive story ideas.

![]() 'less young' viewer am just looking forward to seeing Who do a bit of a riff on the Christopher Reeve Superman stuff; really liked those films as a kid and haven't seen any of the more recent films cos I'm frankly not *remotely* interested in all this Comic Book spin-off malarkey personally. Eg Haven't watched a 'Batman' film all the way through post Keaton! So, Batman: West/Keaton. Superman: Reeve. Hulk: Bixby/Ferrigno. Spiderman: Hammond. Wonder Woman: Carter. And I'll throw in Bond: Moore/Dalton.

BTW Congrats to Ken Dodd on his Knighthood. He had a small, but memorable part in Delta & The Bannermen almost 30 years ago now.
Also Helen McCrory for her OBE (The Vampires Of Venice). Can't believe that was 6 years ago now. Well done. ![]()

I was thinking, is series 11 expected spring time 2018? Because with Capaldi saying he's not decided whether to come back for 11 yet (which could obviously be misdirection), surely the writers for the next series need to know who's gonna be playing the Doctor? I'm just failing to see how they'll have enough time to write and produce a whole series in time for April next year, unless of course Capaldi and Pearl have already signed to stay on. Maybe I've just got no idea how production works though

Chibbers, I guess, will be starting to formulate ideas and scripts soon. Actually, probably been 'on it' for a while already? There's gonna be a heck of a lot going on in forthcoming months! This will probably include an announcement re: who's going to be in Series 11 in the not too distant. A few 'probablys' there, but think it will, um, probably be something like that!eta Personally suspect they know who's going to be in Series 11. Or at the least whether it'll be a new Doctor or not! |

I don't get why this seems to happen every time with some peoples thinking. We all know how far ahead these things have to and are planned to get episodes on the screen for a certain time, and we've seen new Doctors/companions talk time and again about having to keep the secret for months, and yet every time, until anything is announced people seem to have forgotten all that and for some reason think that this time they've suddenly got the luxury of leaving these things until the last minute. Whether Capaldi is staying or going, the decision would have been made by now and known by at least Moffat and Chibnall. |

Series 10 started filming back in July 2016, due to finish at the end of March 2017 and be screened from April. That would suggest that the episodes had all been written prior to July 2016. Going on the same timescale, filming for Series 11 will start around July this year, meaning that the episodes are probably being written as we speak. I imagine Chibnall had an idea of the central themes for his series and its general direction several months ago. It's rather implausible to think this has all been done despite not knowing whether Capaldi will stay on or not, and if he doesn't, who the replacement is. |
