According to Hollywood Reporter the director of the film's college rape accuser has died, apparently back I 1999 at Penn State a young woman was the alleged victim of rape, previous reports indicate in the weeks/months after the alleged rape the accuser tried to end her life following the alleged attack by the director and his friend also involved with the movie.

What I find most disturbing is the fact that he turned up outside classes that the alleged victim was taking and at her dormitory hurled sexual epithets as well as harrying phones calls to her room, she first tried to end her life November 1999 according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Passed away is not quite accurate- she committed suacide in 2003

Wasn't the co-writer of he movie actually found guilty, he appealed, the victim didn't want to go through the witnessing again, so the case was dropped.
