My money is the blind is talking about Brit Brit, like dee thinks. She was the star who instantly sprang to mind as the timeframe fits perfectly and much as I love her she is a performer, not a singer.

May be but as a Disney kid I would have expected her to be able to sing well enough in the studio (especially with computer assistance) to do the sort of early poppy songs she used to sing. I don't know how good Jenny really is. My stated reveal is more dancer/choreographer which is why I thought it sounded plausible but it looks like that reveal wasn't genuine. Certainly no raspberry awards!!

Really hoping it's not Supergirl as I love that show. Yes it's cheesy as hell but it's so bright and funny with a gorgeous and charasmatic cast. I'm already worried about the show's future given they've moved filming to Canada and it's rumoured at least one major cast member is not at all happy.

They wouldn't have made the effort to move it to Canada if they weren't going to at least try and make it work and given none of the new reformatted new channel episodes have been shown so ratings are unknown Supergirl seems unlikely.

The legendary one has far more potential than its shown so far so that would be my guess. I love the characters and the idea but it's never completely gelled.

I don't watch the other shows but I've heard so many viewers have been bitterly disappointed with Arrow this season so it could be that one, or, as you suggest, the Legendary show which doesn't seem to have set the world alight from what I've seen online.

I gave up on it as I just lost the will.

Same with Supergirl, why am I watching this crap I thought. Then stopped.

Legends is getting a number of newbies and dropping some cast already.

I am going for Shield. The new season has been moved to the Friday night death slot. A sure sign the studio etc want it gone.

Jenny did release her first album in 1999, her second came early 2001 and there is a big difference in the sound and as already said Jenny doesn't even sing the chorus on half of the tracks on her 2001 album. It was notable that it was widely reported in the press someone else was signing the songs for her. Its defo her. I can remember discussing it at college back in 2001 ! I'm even sure the woman who recorded the vocals was interviewed and claimed 60% of the songs were her vocals. Unless I'm going insane this happened.

The whole J Lo thing is the worst kept secret in showbiz. She normally only sings the verses on her tracks and backing singers do the rest including the chorus. On the majority of her second and third album you can hear Ashanti on almost all the tracks. I think this is what killed Ashanti's solo career from taking off.

I was never certain why Jenny got so big. She is pretty, curvy, has charisma and can act a bit. But with singing and dancing, she seems to be pushing it. I think dating the new Batman helped her hit the A list. Golden couple and all that. I remember one Hollywood pundit saying he was the first guy she'd dated who'd graduated from high school!!

No it was P Diddy who really upped her career. He was before Batman and bigger in the music industry.
