Re Doctors, it doesn't make sense for it to be 10 since his only Internet drama (afaik) is the Netflix superhero show where he played a villain, and that was a massive success and must've boosted his US career a lot.
Regarding his private life, he found out his on-off girlfriend was pregnant after he'd started the process of moving to LA by himself. It took him four months to decide whether move back to London to be with her or stay in LA and because he kept changing his mind he lost a rom-com movie role and nearly lost his US agent. That was before they married. They seem perfectly happy with her staying home raising the family and him going away on location. I am not especially a fan but this is first hand knowledge. |

From Crazy Days & Nights:
He might think he can handle his drugs and drink, but this permanent A list mostly movie actor can not say the same thing for his now actress daughter. They are killing her. Quickly. |

Sorry I got mixed up in my doctors, yes 10 and 11.
It might have been a massive online show but reading the blind sounds like he was not happy in the part. |

Probably as the part took him away from home for 6 months of the year. No matter what his relationship with his wife, that must have been hard 're the kids. He spoke often about his desire for a family when he was 10
Otoh there were BIs and later named rumours claiming extremely bad behaviour on the part of his female co-star, so who knows? Maybe it wasn't a happy set. |

I don't understand that though, he's done a million TV shows and movies filmed outside England, theatre work abroad, and even his current show is shot outside London (though at least he could get back home at weekends). The Netflix show wasn't a one-off. Surely he could find acting work in London?

From CDAN:
This foreign born A- list actor has his very own television show now. Cable. He seems to be involved in lots of superhero stuff. He is also cheating on his long time foreign born B+ list actress girlfriend/sometime co-star. |

From Blind Gossip:
This legendary, over-50 recording artist wants to release a new album… but is disgusted by the shenanigans of the music industry! He singled out Jay Z and Beyonce‘s Tidal as especially problematic. "It used to be so simple. You sold a record, you got credit for selling a record. You sold an album, you got credit for selling an album. Now it’s all bullsh*t. There’s streaming and digital downloads and You Tube views. The numbers are easy to manipulate. Someone gives away a million records and they tell everyone they sold a million. What kind of fake sh*t is that? Don’t even get me started on Tidal. Jay Z and Beyonce should be embarrassed for that giant turd. They act like they’re helping artists when they’re really restricting them with “exclusive” deals. They’re con artists. They fake their numbers. Then they put up sh*t like Kanye’s crap fashion shows. The day Tidal disappears, I’m gonna throw one big f*cking party!" |

But popping the word shenanigans in there makes me think maybe somebody who has an Irish background? |

Not from a site but another forum I frequent, two Doctors are no longer on speaking terms because of the older one's failure to have a significant impact on the American casting circuit, Old DW moans his stint on a internet TV drama is embarrassing and is somewhat angered by the young pretenders casting in a major new drama again for the Internet.
ODW whinges also about the companions who have broken the American tv/movie industry with one of them getting a ponding by ODW for anyone silly enough to to listen. "ODW" is a household name here with a big family and I just can't quite imagine him being all that bothered about the American circuit (he tried it with the lawyer program and Miss Jones went down rather well if I remember). He's much more passionate about theatre anyway. If anything it's the next face that's been less prolific. The Royal Netflix show will probably be quite big though. And nobody can be mad with Karen Gillan, she's too nice. |

I can kind of believe he has an open marriage, as the novelty of being with 5's daughter isn't really enough to sustain a marriage, but I can't believe he has that level of professional jealousy towards others. |

I can't imagine 10 being anything less than lovely and supportive to other actors, and by all accounts he and 11 get on well. I can't believe rumours of jealousy.
11's career choices have been eclectic. His recent theatre gig for example. No one works with that director, in that theatre, unless they genuinely care about theatre as an art form and pushing themselves creatively.. |

He is one of the few "celebrities" (and I use that in quotes because he really isn't one in the modern sense...doesn't court the press at all and is know solely for his talent) who I've never heard a single bad word spoken against. I think it's a fake blind made up by some bitter DW fan for reasons known only to them. |

I went to see him in that. His comic timing and stage presence was impeccable. I haven't had such a chuckle in the theatre for a long time! |
