I'm sure I read a report saying they got on like BFFs at the start of filming but were barely on speaking terms by the time it ended.

Where is this from?
Oddly I can see it being true. Bronson admitted in the past he messes around with guys but then backtracked on it. He has also said staying faithful is hard for him so I can imagine them having an intense fling before it turned sour.
