I think the issue wasn't that it was two men, or even the age gap - it was that the older man was a teacher, and the younger one was 16. Had the older man not been someone who worked with children, I doubt it would have been such an issue.

I remember the rumour about Tea And Toast years ago when she first left the show. It seems obviously true and I feel so bad for her. I'd hope she at least got some form of support, IE counselling and not just a pay off but I won't hold my breath.

I think that everybody that knows the story of 2012 X Factor is aware of the rape case, but doesn't UK law prohibit them from being identified? I know that it's easily googled but DS is UK based and should enforce UK law.

I've seen the guesses and it could be her but I wouldn't describe that lady as a powerful politician though.

There is an almost network show that has been on forever.

The lead actor on the show was out to dinner with some members of his church. Apparently the discussion was mainly about the upcoming election and if there was any hope of getting rid of gay marriages. The actor then went on a rant about how he is sick of questions about whether his character is gay and that he would never be supportive of his character being gay because he does not want kids thinking being gay is normal. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but the fandom is basically based on this, so probably not something they wanted to hear. The brothers are both from Texas. One is super religious, one isn't. Pretty sure it's the brother that got their start on Days Of Our Lives. He's shut up (at least publicly) in recent years but he wasn't so quiet early on.

That's the only reason i know, as a big DOOL fan because he wasn't quiet about when he was on the soap.

I think it's probably him too. I remember reading about a kerfuffle from him when someone brought the character being gay up at one of those conventions. Also, I don't know why the blind thinks the show's fandom is based on this, most people, including me, just watch the show for what it is and don't entertain these daft relationship stories that float around various online forums.
