I don't believe this one at all. It sounds like something the D-Lister has made up for attention, no matter who it might supposedly be about.

Well it was when the icon was young. I agree it's unreliable but I wouldn't be surprised either.

If "on her way up" refers to her career & not her getting high that places this story in the early 80s which I think is unlikely as its so bloody long ago.

By 1983 she was a huge icon so would hardly have been able to let some random guy piss on her in the street unnoticed. So we are talking four decades ago at least. Add in the fact Material Girl has OCD, refuses to shake hands with people as a result of this and kicks off if she is even in the same room as someone who sneezes , it all makes it very unlikely to be her.

BIB - She really wasn't. 1983 was her breakthrough year but it wasn't until 84 that she had any real success and it was 85/86 that she really became a global superstar and not just another pop act with a stellar but short lived career.

More than you it would seem. One of the main reasons she left Dan Gilroy was because he was drinking all the time and it was effecting her focus. Madonna always had a goal to succeed, that was what drove her. Drink and drugs were not on her agenda.

Agreed! By 1989? with Like a Prayer she had certainly achieved iconic status and silly things like that sex book (which I bought!
) reinforced it.

If I was at a big party.....I wouldn't expect to to bring my own alcohol.
I know it's different but my point remains the same.....it's for drugs were a big part of their life style then they would have been made available on tap at the party.

The former History Boy who's now a talk show host in the US is in an advert at the moment where he dresses up as the Spice Girls? Not sure what the recent press disaster would refer to if it's him though?
