Err... I'm not so hot on musicians. Who's this one?
Glam rock/ metal singer
Named after a blonde bombshell and a mind controlling murderer from the sixties
but image is all about shock and being debaucherous(if that's a word)

Tennis? Gymnastics? Can't think of the track team females at the moment.
I'm very suspicious about this one as I know that A sample fail results are usually made public. The athlete then has the option of having the B sample tested or they can just admit straight away that they had drugs in the system for whatever reason.

Brian.
Hardly a shock. He probably puts a lot of rumours out himself to try to be 'edgy'

He's never been A list.

Well I guess the site it came from may not be totally accurate on these things!

Don't agree. Mid to late 90's and the early 2000's the time when his most successful albums were released i'd say he was A list.

Sadly being blamed for Columbine made him even more popular.

I think it's just a case of some stars having a higher profile in the US than they do over here. He's quite hard to rate as he's better known for his persona than his music. I couldn't name one track of his. I should be able to if he was ever A list.

I have an album and I am more aware of him than non rock/ metal fans I suppose. I wouldn't have thought he was 'A List' but I wouldn't know in the US, maybe.

Anyway it's not really gossip as he actively courts controversy and openly talks about drugs all the time like 'look at me! I'm really bad and freaky! please pay me attention, ooh I'm so bad'

He definitely was A-List at one point in the States, high-profile relationships too, one with the Westworld star was pretty big as she was still a teen.

You don't think it's likely to be true?

No I don't. There was an earlier blind claiming THE swimmer was doing a Lance Armstrong. That was clearly rubbish and we've heard nothing since.

Unclear whether they mean athlete in the general sense or track and field in particular so very hard to guess.

I think the sponsors bit is one clue, and that would rule a few people out but puts a lot more emphasis on a handful with a lot. Another clue is that they are omitting the term medalist so it looks like they didn't medal in Rio and that narrows it down a great deal.

In the US, they tend to apply the term athlete to any professional sportsperson.

Still suspicious about this but I think the use of 'Olympic athlete' would probably rule out someone from a sport that is popular outside of the Olympics. Any if it's true, it will be out soon.

I don't think there are many sports that fit this in relation to the sponsors part. There are not many sportspeople that would have multiple sponsors...and extremely popular would make me think they are known world wide and again that would limit the sports.

I still think omitting the word medallist is the big clue, because if they did medal I think that would be in the wording.

And he is so bad that he appeared on Saturday morning kids show back in the 00's called CD Uk . There are more shocking metal musicians than him

From CDAN:

She Has No Money

This A+ singer lives large.

How often do we see photos of her all over the world? Traveling on a private jet on a seemingly perfect vacation. She never wears the same clothes twice and her husband must make as much money as her too, right? She is beyond wealthy. That is the image, but not the reality. Our A+ lister recently decided to invest in a company She made a big deal about. The problem for her is that it required an actual cash outlay, and was not something that could be charged to a card. She had the money, but it was a close call. How did it get like this?

Back in the day when she was first hitting it big, she had good management. They kept the expenses low and the income high. Times were really good. Then, her management changed. What was just her money now became the money of her and her manager and all his ideas to rule the world. The problem is most of his ideas have turned out not so great. It probably wouldn't be that big of a deal if he had not put their money into the deals and used more money from outside investors. High risk and high reward. He didn't want to share.

Our A+ lister started stepping up her spending game at the same time her record and tour sales started declining. What to do? Basically the couple run a tab and bill everything to the record company. They have sold off a lot of their future royalties because they didn't have enough cash to cover the bill when the record company came calling. They have also sold off some of the future royalties of some of the artists they control.

They had to sell off property to pay off some investors to keep his latest business afloat. They went from owning a really expensive property to leasing something not all that great compared to it. They made a bullshit offer on a house to make it look like they were moving up, but they could never provide proof of funds, which is why they lost out. They just didn't have enough money.

Over the past six months, the monthly allowance of our A+ lister has been forced to live on has been reduced. The clothes have been downgraded a couple of levels and the household expenses have been cut in half. The big investment he made he needs to get out of, but can't because the entire house of cards would come tumbling down and bankruptcy, both professional and personally would have to occur. That would destroy their whole brand and image, so they keep trying to make it work. But short of winning some sort of lottery, either of the real variety or some singer of theirs breaking out like Adele, it just isn't going to happen.
