I was thinking of the band who did Hold On , back in 1990, then pretty much disappeared. The dad of two of them (Mr Pet Sounds), was in arguably one of the most popular and influential bands of all time, and a bit of an enigma in himself. He can definitely be described as eternally A- list.

One had a Pet Sound father
Another one's Dad was Daddy from Mamas And The Pappas, they might be considered A- even today as their stuff is still played. Also Mama was in a long running US evening soap which was a spin of a city in Texas. So double for her.
I remember they had one massive hit and a good album then the trio just seemed to faultier and dispensary apart from one who was in the gossip mags even over here about losing and gaining weight. Funny I heard her mention on E News last year as back recording.

People are guessing that this is Jon Snow and Ygritte. It fits but is Jon Snow such a womaniser. He doesn't like the fuss made over his looks...but then neither does known sex addict David Duchovny.
