Has anyone else noticed a very distinct new disgusting taste to pepsi max? I am not a lover of fizzy juices, but occasionally i do buy pepsi max. Today i bought the 4 pack, but it's disgusting. It tastes like there is a hint of alcohol in it

On the other occasions i have bought it, it's always been quite a nice refreshing taste, but not now.

So just wondering if anyone has tasted this recently and has noticed a different taste to it

Pepsi is about the same as the Tesco 17p/2litre coke for me.....I prefer Diet Coke; even Coke Zero tastes funny to me.

Have not noticed any change in taste, it's my favourite cola and I drink it several times a week.

The only time I taste anything different with Pepsi Max is if its near its best before date. Other than that, not noticed any difference for Pepsi Max bottled in the UK.

This is my favourite drink, with vodka.
I've loved Pepsi Max for about 25 years now since I was 10/11 when they initially gave it away for free as advertisement.

I find lately that the cans somehow taste a bit different compared to the bottle, cans are horrible now. The 2 litre bottles all the way.
And cold! has to be chilled from the fridge.

I've just checked a can there and it's not out until November this year. Maybe my taste buds have gone to pot lol.
I won't be taking another as it was just rank

It's the only fizzy drink I buy. I buy a 2 litre bottle, not cans.

I've been drinking it for a few years and I haven't really noticed any distinct difference in the taste.

There's a Coke Zero, which is their version of Pepsi Max. Haven't heard of Pepsi Light. Think that Pepsi Max has more sweeteners and caffeine than Diet Pepsi.

Did you try the strawberry Pepsi that was out for a while during the '90s?

Have you got a citation for that 'fact'?

Pepsi Max Cino was my favourite, it was coffee flavoured.

"COFFEE AND PEPSI???" I hear you cry.

Well it was actually really nice!

Fact:

Soft drinks have less than 1% of alcohol in them.
Yes, that's correct. Some flavourings contain alcohol.

Ah yes, Max-a-Cino. Possibly the foulest, most evil substance i've ever tried aside from Marmite flavoured chocolate.

I remember seeing a promotional stand offering out the tiny cans of the stuff to try. I was intruiged as I quite like Pepsi Max so I wandered over. In one continuous motion i opened the can, took a swig and immediately brought my arm back down and threw it in the bin that was in front of the table while saying "dear god that's disgusting!"

A few people thought it was quite funny but the lady who gave me the can just looked and said "Oh...".

I wont touch any drinks with sweeteners in any more.

What really worries me is why so many kids drinks have sweeteners in
When it says "no added sugar" I thought it was naturally sweetened with the fruit .. Nope its sweeteners.
Aspartame has now changed its name to Amino Sweet .
Just in case some of you want to avoid it.

Marmite flavoured chocolate? That's just like an Apple flavoured Orange.

But I hope it's not from KFC where faeces has been found on the ice, that's where the 'crappy' flavour will be coming from.
