8 cans of Pepsi (all varieties) are only £2 in Asda. I buy them to take to work as its so much cheaper than buying a can from a shop.

Pepsi Max is my favorite of the colas. Also love Cherry Pepsi Max, it smells just like Cherry Pepsi did when I was a kid.
I like the new shape 1.5 litre bottles of Pepsi and Diet Pepsi.

I drink Coca Cola sometimes, I just wish Diet Cherry Coke had the same flavour of cherry that Cherry Coke has.
I read that CocaCola Zero is being discontinued in the UK with a new version called CocaCola Zero Sugar with a new formula to make it taste more like regular CocaCola.

Also seen CocaCola Life has been reformulated with less sugar in it, and a new red logo.

On the other occasions i have bought it, it's always been quite a nice refreshing taste, but not now.

So just wondering if anyone has tasted this recently and has noticed a different taste to it”

I noticed a change a while ago and switched to Coke zero, no sugar no calories and a much nicer taste.

LOL
You would have loved going to party's in the 70's OP.
You would have experienced the lovely metallic taste of a Watneys Party Seven.
A mighty tin can holding seven pints of bitter that could only be opened with a hammer and a screwdriver.
For the women there was the old favourite, a glass of Vodka topped up with thick undiluted triple strength orange squash. Happy days.

I only ever buy them at Tesco and Asda when they are on offer.

Take some of them with you to drink on the train as well, and it will save you a small fortune compared with buying them on the train when the trolley comes round.

Really? It should last 3 days or so once opened. You only get about 4 glasses from a two litre bottle, if me and my wife have a glass a day a 2 litre bottle only lasts 2 days.

Don't drink it every day, as a single person it usually takes me over a week to get through a bottle. Can get about 5 or 6 servings out of a bottle, using my size of glasses.

I am glad it is not my imaginiation lol.

She said she had tasted it herself, and also told me that it tastes like vodka has been out in it lol.
Problem solved though ”

You must have very big coke glasses, like pint beer glasses.

I personally only use pint glasses for my soft drinks, I drink so much that a smaller glass would need to be refilled far too often.

4 glasses from a 2 litre bottle sounds about right to me.

Yes, I drink everything from a pint glass. Soft drinks, water, juice etc. I hate tiny glasses where you have a couple of sips and it's gone.

Ironically the only thing I don't always drink from a pint glass is beer which I usually use a 2/3 pint glass as most bottles are 330ml.

My local shop has the 1.5l Pepsi Max bottles in, I just got a couple. Haven't tried them yet, waiting for them to chill, and will see how they turn out.

Hopefully they'll keep their fizz better than the 2lt bottles.

lol the replies to this topic is great.

I've loved pepsi max for 25 years now since I was 10 when it was released.

Can't believe it costs £2/bottle now! (2 litres). When I see it on special offer I always grab a pack of 6/8 for £1 to £1.50 each.

Agree though the can's don't taste nice any more. Though, they somehow taste nice-enough out of public drinks machines if dispensed cold and only cold.

Wine or beer pffff... give me a milkshake drink, or pepsi max with vodka any day! "Man vs" such drinks..

I quite like Fentiman's classic cola but I think they may have changed it a while back as well, it used to be more relaxing.

To quote part of the letter......After the thorough investigation they identified a variation within their process, which affected one of their can lines.
That resulted in a bitter off taste in a small proportion of the finished product that was made during the defined manufacturing period.

In other words, they fooked up

People seem weirdly obsessed with this drink. Coca cola is much better.

It was released in April 93. 23 years ago.
