I've just started a sim only deal on LIFE mobile, £6 a month, 1500 mins unlimited texts and 1gb data. Can't fault them, coverage is great and customer services are fantastic too. I used to pay anything between £13-20 a month with EE for 200 min, unlimited texts and 500mb data (always went over on data!)

I joined Life a few months back. Same deal. Customer service was great but sadly the signal was awful. And I don't live in the middle of nowhere. Stuck with it as its so cheap but had to give up and switch back to Tesco when I went out for a meal and had zero phone signal all night when in the middle of Liverpool city centre.

Shame as they're amazing value.

Now pay Tesco double for the same. But at least I have a signal everywhere I go.

What do you have?
EE Mobile Broadband 25GB / £15 per month
Life Mobile 600Mins / 5000 Texts / 500mb for £4.95 per month

Both are used in a Dual Sim phone, with the EE Sim handling the data and the Life Mobile Sim doing the calls and texts. This combination effectively gives me 25GB of Data / 600 Mins / 5000 texts for just under £20 / month.

Virgin Media unlimited texts and calls, 3GB data for £15. I used to have unlimited data for £20 but I hardly ever go over 2GB (usually around 1GB) so I was paying an extra £5 for an allowance I never used.

Also have a PAYG Three SIM that I keep in my old mobile as a spare. Only used a couple of quid of credit in 6 months.

I'll be the first to admit that we're on TalkTalk Mobile

I get 2000 mins, Unlimited Texts & 6GB data for £10.00 pm.

And the wife and kids get 1000 mins, Unlimited Texts & 4GB data for £5.50 pm each.

None of us have had any problems at all so far (reception & customer services) and for £26.50 pm for all of us my bank balance is happy too

I'm on a £9 per month 12-month unlimited calls/texts 4GB data with 3 via retentions. 4GB is plenty as I have wifi at home and at work.

The reception is relatively good in urban areas, out in the sticks not so much. The customer care, however, is shite.

I'm on o2 and used to be on a £10 a month 3g pay and go tariff that gave me 150mins, 500mb data and unlimited text.
Since getting an IPhone 5s just over a month or so ago I moved to a £15 4g pay and go tariff that gives me 750mins, 1gb data and 2000 text.

Phoned for my PAC to move to Virgin for unlimited mins/texts/2Gb Data and 087/084 calls for £12pm, and the following day they rang to ask why I was leaving, so told them about Virgin and thats the deal they offered to stay (I was previously on 500 mins/unlimited texts/2Gb data for £16pm), so I stayed as with EE I get 4G. The actual tariff is £24.99pm but my bill shows a £13pm loyalty discount.
