Just got an email about Ovivo Mobile Communications Limited (in liquidation), anyone else?

please find attached a letter providing notice of the final meeting of creditors and advising that the Liquidator's Draft Final Progress Report dated 25 April 2016.
Please note that, given the number of potential creditors, we remain unable to assist via telephone enquiries.

I assume you filled in a proof of debt form and sent it to the insolvency service / official receiver? Unless maybe the company gave a list of creditors.

You won't see anything back from it OP, the tax man gets first priority, then there are other priorities. I bet you'll literally get nothing, but it would be interesting to see.

Nope. They obviously had my email, making a claim would get me in trouble. Just curious if anyone else got the email, could be a scam.

I think it's just if you're on the books somewhere. I remember we used to get stuff from the administrators of ON digital all the time, probably because they owed us some fairly small amount of money

Actually these days, HMRC is treated the same as any other unsecured creditor and below the insolvency practitioner, secured creditors, preferential creditors etc. They used to rank a little higher in priority but were downgraded when the law changed.
