The most recent update to the Android app has this in the release notes:

We're also in the process of upgrading the video and audio quality of the content shown in the app. This is being done in order of popularity so for our most watched shows and movies you should already see an improvement.
Wonder if bitrates (if not resolutions) are rising generally.

There is an odd thing about Now TV ... the live channels are always basic SD resolution unless you watch through the app on an Apple TV box in which case they are 720p.

Apart from live content, the Now TV box is also 720p.

Whilst the official line is SD for live TV, if you ever watch Sky Atlantic, Sky One, Sky Living or FOX they are clearly higher. I'm guessing as some of the channels are still low quality it's easier for the table to say SD than list exceptions.

What channels are in the entertainment pack these days.

I fancy a change from Netflix.

The kids channels are being removed from the entertainment pass as they have created a new kids pass instead.

Having the same problem. It was fine last night but logged me out overnight and now can't get back in. Web chat help useless (not doing a factory reset)
