id love Mambo to be added I'm like Len in fact I like a good old traditional dance and wish that a Cha-Cha would look like one ect but at the same time I don't mind a hint of theatrical like Craig, I want to see more recognisable steps and more points deducted for those routines that lack steps or have illegal lifts, I'm like Craig when it comes to scoring as well TBF

My suggestions would be:
1. Certain dances to be performed to more "traditional style" music (i.e. Tango/Paso Doble/Viennese Waltz/Argentine Tango); 2. No acrobatics/flying etc in performances - it's supposed to be about dancing, not a circus; 3. Replace Anton with a much younger pro who is capable of dancing latin; 4. Reinstate Arlene on the judging panel, either as a 5th judge or better still as Head Judge; 5. Instead of having guest singers performing, replace with performances of different international folk dances (i.e. Greek, Irish, Bollywood etc). |

Apart from NOT ditching dance off, don’t want to see good dancers go out too soon
Mine are : 1. Introduce switch up (Like DWTS). 2. Introduce group dance (Again like DWTS). 3. Fourteen dancers 7 males 7 females. Bit of an issue finding good male dancers. It seems that women are generally better dancers than men. 4. Always wanting to see positive innovation. Would like to see more dances, such as Contemporary, Jazz, Jitterbug and Lindy Hop ; that would make eighteen dances in total. Not sure how they could all be fitted in as I don’t want to lose any of the existing ones. Maybe some couples would just not do some of the dances. 5. New female pros - Anya Garnis, Edyta Sliwinska, Emma Slater |

1 Get rid of the Semi-Final dance-off as there are too few couples left for it to be fair - even a popular contestant could easily end up in the dance off and go out.
Not keen on the dance-off anyway, but - don't tell John Whittingdale - suppose it gives helps the cash-strapped BBC add to a popular Sunday night programme. The dance off favours 'ringers' over 'journey' contestants anyway. (I say that even though I'm a Jay and Aliona fan, who would have supported Georgia otherwise .)2 Just let the Couples choose one best ballroom and one best Latin for the Final - plus a 'Freedance' (not a 'Showdance). This would still give variety and would be better than the strange Judges' Choice of 'let's see a not so good dance' again'?? 3 Stick to the rules for the dances - and the judges to be consistent about applying them! Alright, be easy going in the first few weeks, but make it clear what is expected and when - and stick to it. Different types of dances give the programme light and shade, but if they let the rules go, all the dances would end up looking like versions of the 'showdance' - every week - which would be boring. 4 Sort out the daft VTs - please! If the VTs are there to entertain the children who watch Strictly, then get someone who knows how to entertain kids to produce them. Otherwise, please can we have more training VTs - it's really interesting to see how a dance develops or how a dance is structured or how people learn it. 5 Cut back on so many props and backing dancers. They're perhaps useful on Blackpool's big floor and maybe they need some props for movie week and Halloween - otherwise cut them back. Use the budget for better costumes - trousers that fit properly for the men without pockets that stick out, and beautiful ballgowns like we used to have for the women. And an extra one but it's for ITT and the Red Button interview. Interview the judges, Claudia and Tess properly with planned questions, collect some clips of the Series' dances from different angles and some out-takes, choose a few 'best bits' too. Add it to the usual Red Button interviews with the Finalists and other Contestants, but tidied up a little bit. Show the whole thing on the following Sunday night on BBC - there you are, a nice cheap but interesting one hour programme. ![]() Not to change. I'd keep 4 in the Final as it keeps more viewers' favourite couples in - more happy viewers. It's also a safety net in case someone drops out - a 2 person Final is a marathon to watch and must be a marathon to do. I'd also not increase the number of dances in the later stages - they all look exhausted as it is! Also not to change - please, please, no DWTS 'innovation'
