Team GB Olympic kit launch or an Adidas promotional event?

Need to see what it looks like from behind. That's the view the rest of the competitors will be seeing most of.

You don't have much confidence in our rowers.

(Just kidding)

I like the kit better than London 2012 although that grew on me.

100 days to the games - wow the 4 years go to quick

Why haven't they used the actual coat of arms instead of a mocked up version? Weren't they allowed?

I don't like it as much as the London 2012 kit but at least it's distinctive. Better than just having a generic kit which a lot of countries have

Haha, good point. Is that the only sport where they do it 'backwards'?

I suppose sailing is another one where they're usually facing the competitors.

It does seem a strange design. Until you see the non-silhouette version it's not that easy to see what it is from a distance (a load of lions).

Some have compared it to the Charlie's Angels logo. I prefer to think of it as the New Avengers one. Steed, Purdey, and Gambit. Proper GB.

They may have had to re-image the coat of arms to circumnavigate strict IOC rules on logo's on uniforms. I recall issues since 08 for the Canadian hockey team at the Winter Games.

Apart from that I quite like this year's uniforms, better than some we've had.

Hopefully it will be distinctive enough to stand out during events.

I find this years GB and CZE triathlon kit too similar when watching the ITU races, often thinking it's a Brit I'm seeing in the pack when it's a Czech.
