Do the right thing Ukraine, open next year's final with this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvYrAm4SVxM
I'd actually never heard this before

It's actually good though, a million times better than '1944', why couldn't she send something like that to Eurovision?

Georgia. I've actually found a couple of really good Georgian songs recently so I'm not as terrified of getting them as I was a couple of contests ago.

In all seriousness, maybe something like Austria? Or Ukraine to honour our new ESC champion.

I love the idea of just digging into one country for a day though, I might have to steal that.

Go with Austria then. I'd like to think of it as my location being "desperate for love" while also expressing my love for the Bulgarian entry.

Ok Austria it is. Are you actually from Ukraine or is your name just a food pun?
Edit: Trying to think now of which main countries I've never had (apart from Sweden/Gotland )

Bosnia or Montenegro? I'll be shock if one of those win.
Kazakhstan is a little easier as there's a YouTube channel dedicated to current Kazakh pop music.

Is there really?... Montenegro winning - good luck getting Podgorica in a witty slogan.

Just a food pun but it utilises my Ukrainian ancestry.
That's a lot easier for me - for one, I've never had England

It'll be a shock if either of them get to the final let alone win. Kazakhstan has some excellent pop music if you look hard enough. It's been nice seeing some good Kazakh entries since mine and jag's Tromso entry took them to their first final in 17 contests.

There's probably some form of latin song joke in there somewhere

I've been using national music export agency sites a bit recently. A good resource, but their descriptions are often misleading.

Lol because it would have tanked just like it did here! I don't think screeching 'I'M NOT GAGAAAA, I'M NOT AMYYYYY' would have carried quite the same political gravitas... Although of course I do agree with you, the song is amaze.

hmmm depends how you pronounce Podgorica I guess
'a little harmonica in Podgorica' is how I kind of read it...

However, it actually is more like 'Another slice of pizza in Podgorica'

There is a place called Bar on the coast though. We could call it 'Have a stiff one in Bar'

I don't think it'll be a problem that'll need to be solved too soon To Austria then, I've got a slogan for there

Just a reminder that all votes are due by 8 pm tonight for both semis!!! You can vote if you don't have a song in the semi by the way. Think I am only waiting on 1 mandatory vote though! Good work people.

My, my, SF2 is pretty poor. That's where all the bad songs went!

Luckily my song is in there, so I have some hope for that.

Mine is in SF1. So, I'm doing a lot of prayers in the hope that my song will make it through.

My 'worst' song is getting the best reviews, but I'm unsure if any of them will qualify.

Is this because of the reviews? If so, it's only really been me and Mika (and Greek giving a couple of highlights) as far as I know and reviews usually never tell the full results.

Any ideas on where yoshi's flying circus should head off to tonight? Clucks picked yesterday so anyone else?
Also I'll be astounded if either of mine survive tonight - I was surprised that they made it this far tbh

Yes don't listen to the few reviews we have had! Beware the silent majority! Although I mainly talk about getting people to review when I host, it is for the above reason that I do it mainly. Some people see good reviews and think oh I will qualify easily and then are disappointed and some think they stand no chance and need picking up off the floor when they do! lol
