The X Factor 2016 Rebranded Logo

Take a look at the show's social media pages, and you'll see the new look logo. (or just click the text in blue if you're feeling lazy ).

I like it. It's very old school, 2004 X Factor. I'm glad that they're looking at the overall design and aesthetic of the show - it's been too shiny and tacky of recent years. This new look must also be indicative of what the set will feel like this year, too.

A lot of Facebook users are seeing this as a sign of the show going back to basics. I'm not sure if it's really that important, but it definitely suggests that they're re-assessing the show in it's entirety.

but if they keep the six chair challenge it won't be a 'back to basics' xfactor.

I like this new logo. Much much better as the ugly one of last years season.

I don't want it to go entirely back to basics as that means losing the interesting alternative acts.

But if the show becomes more about the singing instead of how well you shout, dance, or behave as a person then I'll be a happy man.

The judges in 2004 were much more strict and it was all better organised and they were honest and it was more not scary but intense. But in recent years it's become what seems to be a comedy the show lets through all sorts now. I hope this year it goes back to original times.
