Home and Away 1995 Episodes 7TWO

Has anyone been watching the 1995 episodes of Home and Away, they are on in Australia but are very easy to access in the UK if you know where too look?

Shane and Angel's wedding isn't far away but there's a very well known resident about to suffer a terrible accident, Roxy and Damian have just left for university and to travel the world respectively and Michael and Pippa have just got back together.

If you don't watch already then I would start watching from now as during 1995-1997 Home and Away doesn't get any better than this, this is techinically the start of the Golden years.

I'd like to chat about these episodes. Unfortunately I'm about 3 weeks behind but I really enjoyed 1994.

I love Jack Wilson How are you finding it?

Im enjoying them been watching them since they begun with the PILOT in November 2009, I've really had enough of the current underscores. Is it me or was the underscores and theme feeling very dated by this point?

I think that period (1994-1996) had a good mix of the classic characters, such as Pippa, Michael, Ailsa, Alf and Fisher, a strong central partnership of Shane and Angel, and then the 1994 new 'youngster' intake of Curtis, Selina, Jack and Shannon. The various relationships worked well and there was a good deal of chemistry between the characters. But I think that by the end of 1996, by which time Jack had left, Michael and Shane had died and Curtis and Selina had split up, that moment had come and gone.

Of course it will always be a good period owing to the fact that Isla Fisher was often to be seen in a bikini

Was this cut when originally shown in UK?

It certainly was yes, so for the first time these are been screened to a UK audience uncut, Donna and Andrew have just had abuse storyline. We are nearly at the theme tune change. Rob just literally disappears next week and is never seen again

So did anyone see the plane crash on Friday, I've seen it loads of times just not the aftermath. Not long until Steven returns now!

The return of Steven also means the return of Dodge isn't far off! That was a brilliant storyline.

The bush fire must be soon too. Although if I remember correctly, Chloe has to come and go (in her initial guest stint) before that happens, and she hasn't even appeared yet.
