I wonder if these offers you speak of will filter down to existing customers eventually?

And what the offers actually are (cheaper up front, or cheaper monthly).

That's very good shame it's only for new customers.

Yeah snapped that up!

Think the existing customer deals will arrive later in the summer. I suspect the UHD service will arrive in time for the new football season and they'll probably have a big push trying to get existing customers to upgrade at that point.

I believe there is now a deal for existing customers wanting to upgrade, basically no upfront cost?

Evening all,

Current Sky customer who has just given notice at end of current deal. If there are any deals in relation to SkyQ I'd be very interested so happy for any Sky employees/colleagues to drop me a PM with details.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

currently doing online chat to upgrade to Sky Q silver, have been told if i upgrade i can have half price movies and sport.

I asked cancellations to confirm this which they did and now on to Sky Q chat and they say i need a friends and family code for this offer.

But i copied in previous chat in which i was told, if i upgrade to Sky Q silver i can have this offer, and they have gone away to check this.

I don't think there is any upgrade offers (if you just try and upgrade), I believe you need a Friends and Family code.

Although the F&F code for existing customers is no upfront costs, the actual sub is full price.

The only code for reduced sub for SkyQ that I am aware of, is for new customers only, and is for free Sports & Movies.

Yes, AFAIK the only Q discount on offer is the above for new customers and only then if you have a F&F code/invite from someone who works there. I also believe they're rationing the codes within Sky.

Basically it's very tight on Q now with no other discounts. Their order books are obviously pretty full so they don't need to discount to sell more. If you can hang on until later in the summer when UHD plans become more solid and the new footy season starts then I think there may be some better offers.
