I very much doubt the message has anything to do with WiFi. In fact I would bet real folding money that the Firestick itself is not generating this message at all.
That kind of message is more commonly generated by the TV when it is receiving a video signal that it cannot process. It means that some parameter, resolution or refresh rate for example, is outside the range of values it can handle.
Resolving it may be a different matter. It would mean changing the output settings on the Firestick. Which could be tricky if you can't call up the menus on it to do so.
