Gatis was brilliantly funny yesterday on BGMT with his dry humour jokes delivered in his unique dead-pan manner. Its just a pity he hasn't got his well deserved big break yet!
Despite his excellent performance in the semi's 4 years ago nothing much seems to have changed for him in the commercial work area. I hope he makes the semi-finals again this year and does not fall victim to an old rule that I heard once about BGT which was no act is allowed to go into the semi-finals twice (unless of course they drastically alter their act and its name).
Perhaps Simon should hire him as his personal jester and call him up when ever he feels sad and Gatis could entertain him over the phone!
Some semi finalists don't seem to get their deserved big break! the excellent darth Jackson made the semi's in 2009, but unfortunately the only major thing that seemed to have changed for him over the past 7 years according to his facebook is that he has gone from part-time at the royal mail to working full time at the royal mail.(no disrespect to royal mail-they do a great job!)
After a personal health scare DJ talent has also unfortunately announced that he has gone into semi-retirement, and although he will continue to make more of his catchy tunes he has still unfortunately not had a chart hit or presumably earned the £10 million that he said he wanted to earn.
They all deserve better!
