BT Increasing line rental by £1 again this year
I have just seen on the BT website a notice about price changes, saying: Quote:
Some of our prices are changing on 3rd July 2016 This is an increase of £1 since last years price increase, 5.5% increase.Line rental is rising to £18.99/mth Line rental saver is rising to £205.08 Call set up fee is rising to 19.00p Weekday calls are rising to 11.00p/min No doubt the offers will also follow. |

In 4 years the line rental saver has risen around £80 that's a huge jump!

Amazingly, calls of more than three minutes will cost more from a landline than from a street payphone.
I really can't understand why anyone uses BT any more - they must have more money than sense ! |

The current 10% discount is more in line with what you normally get with this kind of advance payment, though the previous discounts were verrrry nice to have! And I always get a 8 month delay before I have to pay the increase, as mine renews at the end of February.
