So far all the golden buzzers are for singers. That guy with the crossbow deserved a golden buzzer, but no one bothered !!!

Agree the crossbow guy was the only memorable act of the night and was certainly better than the singer at the end but we all know bgt love singers so its no great surprise. For me bgt should be more about variety acts that are different.

apparently Simons golden buzzer isn't a singing act

The 100 Voices of Gospel and Jasmine are both great acts and well deserving of the Golden buzzer in my view.

The guy with the crossbow had talent but I'm not sure watching a guy shoot a crossbow is really entertaining unless it's part of a bigger performance.

There will always be a bias towards singers (or at least will be overrepresented) because, let's face it, it's Simon's best chance of making money beyond the show.

The golden buzzer gimmick doesn't bother me so much, because it's exactly that, a gimmick. Something to add a bit of "drama" to the audition stages. It's not as if the acts that get them wouldn't have got through. Even David's comedy acts, and I use the word "comedy" very lightly, would likely get through to make up the numbers/to make it easier for the better/preferred acts to get through.

I would never vote for a singer to win BGT. If they were any good they should go on Xfactor. This is a variety show. Give me a magician or dancer or dog act any day of the week over a singer. Actually scratch the 'dog act' from that last comment.

I enjoy seeing the different types of singers which you don't get on XF.

Also if you are one of the golden buzzer acts you get a huge amount of publity regardless of whether youwin the show or not, so its good for those acts tht do get the gong.

Which of the Golden Buzzer acts would have been eligible for X Factor - none of them! I'm not sure why people persist with this argument - yes, there may be too many singers, yes, some of them take the slightly easier route of BGT but none of the Golden Buzzer acts would have been suitable for XF
