Who's that?

Her name is Sandi Toksvig. Don't know if she prefers the Ms or Mrs title but she is married.
A mere typo that is all.

Why the hostility over the use of personal address?

Yep, it's been a very enjoyable run so far and the 'Nighty Night' episode was really good fun. Liked the running gag about kettle peeing. Sandi has slotted into her role effortlessly. Really freshened things up,
Just watched this episode, and yes it was really good.

It helps to have the right combination of guests. with complementary styles of humour, as with the wrong mix the humour can become too juvenile or smutty. David Mitchell is always good value on the show

Since Shakespeare's English is no longer current, you'll find that the form in modern English for a question like that is to reverse subject-verb.
It is a mistake to assume that the usual form is the only correct one, a mistake made by every grammar pedant on at least nine out of every ten 'interventions'. Consider, for example, that the most common question of all has no verb in it at all! Coffee?

I'm not a fan of Noel Fielding so wasn't too keen on viewing the recent episode but he was fine. Just got the inevitable Johnny Vegas appearance to dread now.

I think Fielding is finally getting the message that most people think he acts like a twot most of the time. He was quite good in this episode.

It's a contraction of the question: 'Do you want (some) coffee?' (which is implied). It works because of the context. If you go up to someone in the street and say 'Coffee?', they'll either say 'What about it?' or just find you mad.

It's really not worth pursuing.

No comments on this week's episodes.

I watched Friday's episode this morning and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Leaves me with a glowing feeling that I used to have all the time after watching the programme but which I haven't had so much in the last few years.

Nice interplay between all five and Sandi has fitting into the presenter's role with pure ease.

Stephen who?

Alan: This will be the past someday."
Sandi: "Not on Dave."

Another fun episode where everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. Osman (the not naked one) seemed to slip into David Mitchell mode by taking the pee out of Lee Mack. All very amiable and it seemed a very quick half hour. Great series so far.

Some of us prefer to wait for the XL version. Don't rush us!

I'd quite like to wait for XL as well but it's bloody difficult to keep up with it because they keep moving it around the schedule. This week's XL, for instance is on tonight (Sunday) at 10.20 whilst next week's is on on Saturday at 10.25.

Actually I might watch XL tonight as the episode was so enjoyably it's worth sitting through the bits I saw to see the bits I didn't.

They do that. But I always watch on iPlayer at breakfast on Monday so it doesn't usually affect me.

Either use a Series Link to record it or watch it on iPlayer?

The way to polish the bottom of the pop can would be to use pure chocolate. You'd hold it above your head and point it at the sun and let the wood etc held in your other hand have the rays bounce back on to it.

Is this the second or third time they've covered non-Newtonian fluids? Surely there's enough subject matter that they wont need to go over the earlier stuff again?

Average line-up tonite, Widdecombe making a career move to panel games.

Always nice of the extremely inclusive BBC to include a couple of heterosexual funny persons in the show.

So what would constitute an above average line-up? What sexual orientation has to do with funniness I simply have no idea.

Not exactly a career move, Josh Widdicombe has already made 7 appearances on QI.

And as the wider brush strokes of "Panel Game Shows" was mentioned, he's done numerous appearances of Mock the Week.

What was with all the Star Wars references in this week's QI and the unusually rowdy audience cheering at every mention?

Because of the Star Wars references? Maybe someone who's a fan of Star Wars can enlighten us, on whether they thought they were clever gags or not.
