Hi. Having bought a phone, sim free and unlocked, can a sim be bought from a uk carrier without giving a load of, or any, personal details?

Just pick one up from a supermarket checkout then buy a cash top up from the ciggy counter. Job done.

You can use a three PAYG sim as a sim to make 0800 or 0808 calls and for receiving calls and texts, and not even register it with three.
And it’s still useable for well in excess of 6 months, possibly even for years. Even without any topups whatsoever. |
