Magnetic car dash phone holder
Have not used it to date as I was wondering about the effects on my iPhone 5 as after install.
Tried the phone after the install to test strength and bang !, not much chance of it falling off I fancy. Put the metal plate onto the see through plastic cover on the phone so this may help ? For sure I had a look online for any issues but most seem divided so who better to ask than the community here. Thoughts ? |

I have one for my iPhone 6S. I use an Apple phone cover so can't see the plate but there is a minor bulge on the back. I'm using the thinnest of plate but still can see the bulge. It is very minor and not a problem at all.
I use one of these mount that goes onto the air vent https://www.amazon.co.uk/Release-Mpo.../dp/B00Z66LWDW it works a treat and extremely sturdy with no chance of phone falling off. |

It's the magnets power on the phones internals that started me wondering if safe to use & hence my web search. Some of the info I found said it would effect the GPS as the magnets could confuse the phones internal navigation system. |

I have used mag mounts since the first iPhone 9 years ago. Never had a problem. There is no easier way to mount a phone.

I had an iphone 9 but couldn't get on with the immortality drive so went back to the 4S and sold my time machine on eBay.
