I know there's a thread below but don't want to tread on their toes.

I have a PC with local files (although this isn't essential) and Samsung Tablet/2 phones that play spotify.

I'm seeking a good quality speaker that'll allow us to play music outdoors or when camping, in the park etc using one of or both of our phones. Any recommendations? Was thinking of something like this.... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Wirel...+speaker&psc=1

Additionally, we have a home cinema system already but was looking to either upgrade to a wireless hi-fi system (but would this be able to hook up to TV as home cinema currently does) or we'll upgrade in the future to a new home cinema system but will chromecast into the input jack of the home cinema system to allow music to be played through our home cinema in our living room as well. Does this make sense or any recommendations?

I thought you were going to ask about products in the £200+ price range; then I followed your link. ..... Oh.

First thoughts are that "good quality" and £39.95 for this kind of gear aren't normally associated with each other, but then I guess it very much depends what you've been listening to before for PC/BT audio. If it was the speaker built in to a phone then that Anker speaker will sound like a massive upgrade, so it's all quite relative really.

TBH, at this sort of price range you'll find it tough to get some objective views simply because most of the reviews will be from people who are easily impress by small gadgets that make a loud noise. Audio quality really doesn't enter in to it in any sort of meaningful way. Most folk just want 'loud' and the impression of some bass.

I think if I was you I'd look at the negative reviews first and then perhaps follow some of the links to competitor products; maybe the Sumvision Psyc Monic, and then weigh up the options from there.

As for "Wireless" home cinema systems, it very much depends what you mean by wireless. There's wireless internet/Bluetooth, then there's wireless subwoofers, then there's the so called 'wireless' rear speakers which aren't really wireless at all. The one thing all these have in common is that the features listed are found mostly on those all-in-one surround kits based around a slimline DVD/BD player with amplification built in. I think it's fair to say that most of us here wouldn't recommend that sort of system as a good buy. Your idea then of using a Chromecast stick makes the most sense. Either go from the TV's HDMI port, or if you buy a decent surround system with multiple HDMI inputs then you'll have plenty of scope for connecting peripherals that way.
